I bet “why the war began” is irrelevant to the refugees trying not to get shot as they flee across bridges to escape the shelling of civilian populations to clear cities for annexation by Russia.
Covers one of the two major causes of the intervention/invasion. The other is the systematic shelling and killing of ethnic Russians living in the Donbass region of Eastern Ukraine. Been going on since 2014.
This shelling is being done by their own Ukraine army. The MSM says it is always the Russians, as you apparently believe. Not true at all.
I get the sense the Ukraine leadership is willing to lay every single Ukrainian life on the altar of sacrifice and destruction to continue to fight their war.
That is self-destructive and like unreasoning animals might do. Like Hitler did at the end.
Such as the Russians are telling Mariupol, to raise the white flag, surrender, lay down arms and you can walk out of the city and go where you want. But they wont allow it the Ukrainian leadership. What may happen is like Berlin and other German cities in ww2, everything destroyed and at the end they have nothing. That kind of ideology I regard as satanic.

I have been viewing this war as a judgement of God on the world myself, and that includes the troubles in our own country and against the pride and self-seeking of the western powers. Russell Brand is a bit much for me to watch; a fast talker with a strong British accent presents problems for me, Lol. But his information is usually thought-provoking.
This one is also good. Members of Congress invested in weapons manufacturing and energy stocks just before the war began, and are now profiting from both. But it's all just coincidental, of course.

But you don't want to listen to those spirits!
The problem is that we do!
The very fact that someone is claiming that other people are lying to us show that they themselves are not listening to the Truth!!
Jesus Christ explain that He is the Truth! Also, that His sheep hear His voice!
So the Truth does not come from people at all - but rather from listening to our Lord Jesus Christ via His Holy Spirit speaking to our spirit. Therefore anyone making a big deal about groups of people lying to us lack understanding!!
Our battle is not with flesh and blood but with the powers, principalities, and dark spiritual forces of this world!!
So, who is influencing those people, any people wanting to attack other people? The answer is simple - it is the dark spiritual forces (evil spirits) of this world.
The point is that we, even us "Christain" just don't seek to hear from the Lord like we should, so we wind up listening to whatever spirit is floating around us. They get us mad at other people and keep us blind to what is really and truly going on. Yes - we are being lied to!! We keep thinking this is about the flesh and blood people, which is a lie!! A lie from the father of lies coming through his dark evil forces (not people).
Why don't we understand this? Try seeking our Lord Jesus Christ - meaning talking back and for with Him about it - which is called prayer!

Yes, you wont hear the whole truth coming from a government propaganda story designed to stir up your feelings to go along with whatever message they want you to believe. You might hear partial truth from one or the other sides in any conflict. I absolutely do not believe much of anything coming out from the MSM or our government ministry of truth, long years of continual half truths and lies should tell you they don't want you to know the truth, because, their father is the father of all lies.

You cannot expect perverse liars to know or believe the truth, as they are not of God. Jesus called these people liars.

This is all old news! The east and west have been using finances and channels to try to gain superiority in nations. Ukraine got money and yes these kind of political intrigues make strange bedfellows. But the Ukraine is not a nazi regime.
The Ukraine has not been granted membership in the EU though it has been asking for a long time. The Ukraine has not been granted membership in Nato that is has been asking since 2015. So the charge of the west wanting Ukraine for itself lacks lots of substance.
Ukraine has used Russian military equipment until this invasion when the west armed it.
Yes Ukraine has been a divided ideological nation. But if you support the Donbas and Crimea being allowed to go back to Russia, then yo0u have to allow for the South to have seceded from the US!
Once again the killing in the donbas began after Russia armed the separatists and sent Spetnaz troops in to the Donbas. Both sides are guilty of these intrigues! I prefer the West to win! Even though it is extremely corrupt- there is more freedom in democracies than in the totalitarian states like Russia, Belarus, NOrth Korea, China.

I prefer the WEST to lose, simply because they are promoting great evil things coming onto the world now, and I pray their evil plans God thwarts. Why would God bless the western powers seeing how wicked and evil they have become, they and the people have completely rejected HIM. I expect judgement after judgement to come against America until it is destroyed now.
Why did the Ukraine war begin? It began because Vladimir Putin saw an incapable, incompetent, unworthy imposter in the White House, and decided that there was no leader of the free world. Therefore he was free to invade Ukraine. Let's never forget that when there was no leader of the free world with Obama in the White House, he grabbed Crimea while the stupid Europeans and Americans were sending their athletes to Sochi (as a diversionary tactic by Putin). While Donald Trump was in office Putin dared not invade any country. But when there is no leader of the free world, then there is no fear of reprisal. What is surprising is that Putin did not plan the invasion of all of weak and vacillating Europe.

You seem to be forgetting that Ukraine was under the oppressive heel of the Soviet regime for a very long time. Then they were set free. Now they are facing the same oppressive domination by Russia, and they are not willing to be enslaved. So what they are saying is "Live free or die". This is not to say that the political leadership of Ukraine has not been betraying their people for a long time. It simply means that the people have decided it is time to stand against tyranny.

And start WW3. While robbing us all blind at the same time.

I don't put my hope or faith in any country. I put my hope and faith in the Lord.
We're all going to have to go through this crazy world and still be kept seperate from it.
They are coming for us.
You may not see it now, but it's on it's way.
And I don't mean country, I mean your trust in God.
We are being told to choose between this bad fruit and that bad fruit.
I don't want any bad fruit.
But they going to shove it down our throats and make us sick with it.

All you can do and should do, is walk away from picking sides and understand that God is using this bad guy to take out that bad guy, and vice versa.
God is removing the tares.
Don't let it get you down. That's what they want. They want to scare you, depress you, make you live in fear.

And your going to need to stand fast. And be strong in your faith.
