Actually I am saying that only the view I hold to, the biblical one, is the way of salvation.

Romans 5:8 was written to Christians. It was not written to the lost. And John 1:29 says world, not every individual. Do you believe in universalism? All go to heaven? Nobody goes to hell?
Good Ol' Boy Club, is it?
Do you think the book of Hebrews was written to Christians?
Do you think the Gospel is not in the book of Hebrews?
Do you think that forgiveness is all that the atonement consists of?
Sin makes a mess and that mess has to be cleaned up.
The sins of the finally impenitent make a mess, too.
Do you think that mess is cleaned up/atoned for by their suffering in hellfire?
Have you ever heard of common grace?
Were it not for the atonement process in the plan of redemption, Lucifer would have choked to death the very first time a prideful thought began to well up in his heart.

How do you think folks are going to keep from sinning when all of this mess is over? Do you think we'll just magically have some kind of special ability that Lucifer and Adam didn't have?

The Atonement is about the cleansing of every trace and possibility of sin.

Jesus Christ is the Savior of the UNIVERSE, my friend.

What they are really saying is that the Holy Spirit hasnt been working in anyone from the 1st century till the 21st century.
Could you build that straw man a little bigger? I can't quite make it out.

Whoa, there it is!!!

As for the WCF, i am a presbyterian and we use the WCF often as it is still one of the best, well written statements of faith. Its so good in fact, that numerous other confessions have copied our confessions, like the 1689 baptists and the Savoy Declaration, the philadelphia, And charleston confessions.

I couldn't see it behind that great big cathedral full of back-patting, lifelong, maybe elect (or maybe not), confessed 'wicked folk who don't understand (Daniel 12:10) and therefore can't teach' sinners! (who just need the true Gospel)

heresy!! You SDA’ers are not within orthodoxy and have heretical teachings. You are works based salvation in addition to other lies. The question today was, are you SDA’ers a cult like the JWs and mormons? It clearly seems so since the only purpose of your denomination is to increase your numbers and brainwash new converts so that they dont reveal too much about your lies very similar to how the JWs exist.
Well, we can't all pack the gear to be in the elite WCF Force. :(

I would humbly suggest a more charitable approach to others, taking the time to understand people and show them Christ’s love. Slapping around labels doesn’t encourage anyone to learn or grow in Christ.

The pot calling the kettle black. lol

From the world church headquarters in Silver Springs, Maryland:

What Adventists Believe About the Experience of Salvation - Adventist.org

How do we accept salvation?
Jesus freely offers each of us the gift of total redemption from sin. Our part in accepting this gift is straightforward:

“If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. One believes with the heart, resulting in righteousness, and one confesses with the mouth, resulting in salvation” (Romans 10:9-10, NKJV).

It’s our belief in Him and our choice for Him that allows us to be saved. And this comes to us free of charge—though it cost Him the dearest price.

And God doesn’t just hold this gift out in front of you, hoping you’ll catch it. He truly wants you to accept His gift of salvation. Once you accept it, He forgives your past sins and looks at you as if you’ve never sinned. God exchanges your sinful record with Jesus’ spotless record. Then promises to help you learn to keep your record clean. He says,

“Behold, I stand at the door and knock, if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me” (Revelation 3:20, NKJV).

God’s grace extends to every person. Grace, the unmerited favor of an almighty God, is a free gift given to anyone who asks.

“By grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God” (Ephesians 2:8, NKJV).

Grace saves us. We can be so thankful for this amazing gift!

God’s heart of love desperately wants to save all of humanity. He will leave no stone unturned to make sure every person receives an invitation to accept salvation.

However, while our part is simple, that doesn’t mean it’s always easy. Accepting God’s gift means putting Him first. It means growing spiritually, with Him as your guide, into the person He created you to be.

God also gives us His Holy Spirit to guide us through everything. When you receive salvation, you give the Holy Spirit permission to work in your life.

But it’s important to remember that this gift is your choice. Even though God knows His way is best, He will never force you to follow Him.

charity can go too far. But im sure you would have told paul the same thing when he told the church at corinth to kick out the guy sleeping with his stepmom right?? At some point, christianity is going to have to deal with all the heretics claiming to be christians. It makes us true denominations look bad.
Except that perversity isn't heresy. You are awfully triumphalist for someone who claims to be unregenerate.
you got that right. Then again, you and bob got one thing in common… heretics gotta heretic.
Now that is a brilliant observation.

Then spend the time to work with that INDIVIDUAL for where they have gone astray. Again, with charity or you are just a clanging cymbal. Flaming and slapping around labels doesn’t help anyone come to Christ.

Wanna see how heretical SDA is? Heres a nice bit.

A wonderful, charismatic performance of mostly complete lies and a few half-truths with absolutely -ZERO- evidence for the claims.

Bravo!!! LifelongSinner—You just added one more for the recording angels' books.

you cults have no intentions of leaving and looking for the real truth.
And you "real truth" folks have no intentions of following forum rules (link):

Yeah and you tried to build a premise that Calvinism is wrong based on one work of one man that Calvinism isn't even truly based on. That's the point.
No the point is that John Calvin interpreted Scripture properly in his commentaries, then turned around and reversed everything in his Institutes in order to promote Reformed Theology. Had he not done so, Calvin would have had the same Gospel as those who reject TULIP.

i guess you missed the 1st paragraph…

“Based on this definition, the Seventh Day Adventist Church could be considered a cult. While they call themselves Christian (and probably many who attend Adventist churches are, in fact, believers in Jesus Christ), the organization itself professes unbiblical and harmful doctrines and beliefs outside the mainstream of orthodox Christianity.”
I'd like to see what constitutes "mainstream Orthodox Christianity" today.

The Seventh-day Adventist Church is preaching the Everlasting Gospel of Righteousness By Faith in The Lord Jesus Christ in 202 of the 232 countries of the world as a single, organized body of over 22,000,000 believers. A new member is baptized every 25 seconds. A new church is raised every 2 hours and 20 minutes. Its Christian Healthcare and Education system is 2nd in size only to the Roman Catholic system.

Calvinisn says that no matter what you believe or say or do unlessyou have been pre chosen you cannot be saved=great error. God is not willing that any perish!
that is correct those whom are elect/predetermined and predestined will through irresistible grace be saved. They have no choice otherwise.

thank you!!!!! For once, truth. I love it.

*im not saying this is the first time YOU’ve told the truth, its just that so many get it wrong, its a breath of fresh air to see someone else gets it*
Its clear from these passages and many others Gods grace can be resisted. It is not irresistible that is for sure.

Acts 7:51
“You men who are stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears are always resisting the Holy Spirit; you are doing just as your fathers did.

Matthew 22:3
And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come.

Matthew 23:37
Jerusalem, Jerusalem, killing the prophets and stoning those having been sent to her! How often would I have gathered together your children, the way in which a hen gathers together her chicks under the wings, and you were not willing!

Proverbs 1:24
Because I have called and you refused to listen, have stretched out my hand and no one has heeded,

Isaiah 65:12
I will destine you for the sword, and you will all kneel down to be slaughtered, because I called and you did not answer, I spoke and you did not listen; you did evil in My sight and chose that in which I did not delight."

Isaiah 66:4
So I will choose their punishment and I will bring terror upon them, because I called and no one answered, I spoke and no one listened. But they did evil in My sight and chose that in which I did not delight."

This will get you started.

The Orthodox Presbyterian Church

i HIGHLY recommend you scroll down to the bottom of that page and see what the Q&A question is.
Get me started with what?
It's just another shill for Romans 9ism.
Presbyterianism seems to be quite fragmented, from the information I've been able to find.
What should have happened when I read the Q&A question?

Should a rabbit have jumped out of a hat or something?
What makes this worthy of such a "high recommendation?"
