Hebrews 13:5-6 KJV
5) Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
6) So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
Do you believe Jesus will NEVER leave you, NEVER forsake you?

How can one not believe this, once The Lord has entered in. The problem is, The Lord has not entered in all that name themselves Christian. The Lord has said, Behold, I stand at the door and knock, anyone who hears my voice and opens the door, I will enter in and sup with him. Many are not willing to make Him Lord, as well as savior, of their lives. There is a gift of The Holy Spirit called the gift of discerning of spirits. For close to 20 years The Lord put me in the public(in the mist of the people) working with people. There were many that called themselves Christian and yet were not. It actually was rare that I ran into a true Christian(one born from above). You see, this gift(which is actually a manifestation of Him in me) bares witness to the presence of the enemy, as well as baring witness to The Presence of The Lord. If a person I come across is truly born from above(again), then I find that I am immediately in The Spirit, as The Spirit bares witness to The Spirit in another. This means that this person is truly one of The Lord's son's or daughters. This means that even though we may be strangers, we both are One in The Lord. This also means we both have eternal life. But to be honest with you, with me, I do not look at what I have, but only at what others do not have. When one is truly born from above, because The Lord has entered in, then we become about others for He is about others. Now for your question in the op. If The Lord has truly entered in, then He will never leave them nor forsake them. They are sealed unto The Day of redemption and He will finish the work that He started in them. I do read these boards as well as other boards and I write as I am led. You have made me smile lately as the words are starting to flow, as He promised they would. In these words, you will find the reason for why what you bring is apposed on many fronts, but be not discouraged, so it was for the ones before us. The Lord knows those that are His and He is faithful.
