He sure does! He IS Love, He is jealous, He gets angry! He is compassionate, sorrowful, gladdened, grieved, so on and so on. Only difference between His emotions and ours is that His are perfectly balanced and JUST. :)

Does God have feelings?
Of course He does, but there's a major difference between having feelings and being insecure.

God loves in ways we can't imagine and He hurts for those He loves, but He doesn't get lonely, which is an insecure sentiment. He is always surrounded by countless angels and exists in a realm of love and joy, the likes of which we have no referential concept for.

I don't think I said God was insecure.

You strongly implied it by claiming He gets lonely and gets His feelings hurt when we sin.

It's the old 'God is a wet-noodle' implication that so many mainstream christians get brainwashed into advocating.

Put yourself in God's shoes. Would you prefer spending all eternity alone or with people?

.
The Bible depicts God as someone capable of grief.

Gen 6:5-6 . .The Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great on the
earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil
continually. And The Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth,
and He was grieved in His heart.

Judg 10:16 . . And they put away the strange gods from among them, and
served The Lord: and His soul was grieved for the misery of Israel.

God's spirit is capable of grief too.

Isa 63:10 . .They rebelled and grieved His Holy Spirit;

Eph 4:30 . . Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God

Hi Bob,
First of all, ain't NOBODY can ever fit in His shoes, He's got no "rival and no equal". Satan is not His rival at all, just His enemy which makes Satan our enemy too.
God has NEVER been alone...He is all in all! He is a creator, He has countless angels as well as The Son and The Spirit...He loves His creation and does not "need" a thing.

God isn't alone if we love him with all our hearts, minds, and souls.

God has never been alone...He is not human like us and we should not try to "humanize" Him.
Loneliness connotes low self esteem and God sure does not have THAT. He has no lack at all, He is the epitome of fullness.
He has countless choirs of angels, those who have passed on before us, He has the trinity in Him...I don't think God is lonely. But then, I could be wrong...

Does God have feelings?
I believe He does...one of the reasons He created us is to love Him and worship Him....He grieves, He gets angry, He rejoices over us, He gives us His peace and joy, the JOY of the Lord is our strength...

most all of our feelings come from the heart....I have never felt a feeling from my mind...always from my heart...isn't that strange that we can feel things from the heart.

I don't suppose God has ever been alone, but he would be if we all ignored him.

Who would be with him?
All of the above mentioned creatures. Legions of angels, many OT saints perhaps as well as possibly those loved ones who have who have passed on? And, who knows what The Creator has also created. Love to think on these things cause, He could create new and different colors too if He so wanted. We see through a glass darkly now, here on earth but, one day we will see all things.

And if they all turned their back on him? Someone has to be willing not to do that. It ought to be you and me, among others.

God is without beginning, which means from eternity. the human race was created about 6 thousand years ago. do you think that God was feeling "lonely", for trillions of years, before the creation of humans? God is not "human", and does not act or react the way that we do

But do not ignore this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 2 Peter 3:8 RSV
