These L.......O.........N........G post I do not read, sure others dont either.

Its not how much one can say but how effectively one can get a point across in fewer words !

Sola Scriptura
OP ^

In a single word YES.

Sola Scriptura IS Worthy, Beneficial for hearing, knowing, believing, trusting, admonishing, verifying, EVERY WORD another Preaches.

Anti-Sola Scriptura IS a concocted, cunning, philosophical intended mind bending rouse, BY THE VERY MEN, WHO promote,
“THEIR WORD” is sufficient to BE TRUSTED, WITHOUT verification of Scripture.

And their LAUNDRY list of “reasoning of ANTI-SOLA SCRIPTURA”...
is laughable on its face! YET very appealing to the LAZY, who would RATHER be told what to believe THAN, miss a ball game, miss a party, and spend that time VERIFYING what they ARE told to Believe!

Glory to God,

1st there are more than books and more chapters like the beautiful faith story of Susana I Dan 13.
2nd scripture come from the apostolic tradition.
3rd what about the divine of the word of God outside scripture? Psalm 19:1 Lk 3:2 gal 1:12 and the fact that Christ taught and revealed the word directly to the apostles in person for three years.

Only cos in 1850 the English bible society with zero authority from Christ says so! The original KJV had more books and chapters

How many MORE words, MORE books, MORE chapters does one require to TRUST Gods WORD with verification above mens words without verification?

TEST ALL THINGS...
1 Thes 5:
[21] Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

When your Pope says this or that...
When you rely on letters of “ancient men” appointed “by ancient men”... BY WHAT do you measure their words? More of their words?
By what DO YOU measure Your Catechism words of men? More words of men appointed by men?

When Ancient men said...oh, oh, Mary, Mary, Mary....sinless, holy from her natural brith, forever virgin, mother of God, Queen of Heaven, Intercessor for men to pray to, for her see that their prayers be considered and answered, oh, oh, oh, Pray, Pray, Pray TO her, exalt her with statues to bow down to.....really?
WHAT exactly VERIFIED those teachings, besides more words of the same men who preached such nonsense?

What is your answer?

I agree and if ppl would be honest I would like to do a poll on how many honest ppl let the word lay around and collect dust except on the days they take it to church.

So many spout what thus saith the preacher, teacher ect as opposed to what saith God. !

Others have collected a menagerie of commemnraries, authored books, cliff notes ect. to read or stydy from.

and Luther, Calvin and the other so called reformers?
I am Baptist, not part of the Reformation.
All of the Reformers share the common history of being born into Roman Catholicism and attempting to REFORM the excesses and apostasy of their corrupt age (even Rome reformed the worst of the abuses and corruption within the Clergy). Thus they all began with Roman Dogma as the presupposition and attacked what was CONTRA-BIBLICAL.
  1. Since the Reformation, the RCC has continued to add to its exultation of Mary, thus even Luther and the Reformers would likely object to things like Queen of Heaven and the current push for Co-Redemptrix.
  2. Baptists start with people able to read the actual Word of God (Bible) in their vernacular (native) language. So the opinions of other people are interesting, but only the actual SCRIPTURE really matters. There is no mention of immaculate conception, perpetual virginity, or assumption for Mary (just for Jesus) in the Bible.

apologetics is about information!

Information from whom, is the question.
Context is very very important in all things bibically discussed.

My teacher is the Holy Spirit the Father sent. Jesus said he would teach and remind us of the word.

Mary was holy and wholly consecrated to God!
... Says no verse in the Bible.

Thats an apostolic tradition!
A tradition “teaching” that upholds the incarnation of Jesus Christ!
No, it doesn't uphold the incarnation of Jesus Christ ... it just seeks to exalt His mother and place her on the throne of God.
(which is why I object to it)

Jerome agreed with the same "66 book*" canon and uninspired apocrypha when he translated the Hebrew and Greek originals into the Latin Vulgate (AD 382), so it is the Church of Rome that changed its mind (and Doctrines) over time. Publishers just stopped including uninspired books under the same cover as inspired books.

* Jerome followed the Hebrew tradition of dividing books so all 66 modern books are included but some are combined into a single book that modern Bibles split into multiple books.

Jesus IS the Divine Word.
The Spoken Word spoken Orally, is verified BY WHAT?
The Word Written IN Scripture.

Now again, What exactly verifies mens orally Taught Words, beside their own spoken words or their own written words?

Over the years independent polls have been taken. The number of people owning a Bible is outstanding. The number of people who actually read the Bible is embarrassingly scant.

People are lazy, preoccupied, and are content to be told what to think, do, believe...regarding history, government, religion, rearing children, eating habits, clothing, housing, their health....on and on.
* Seriously the amount of money people spend Because their perfectly functioning kitchen doesn’t have the “right shape cupboards, kind of flooring, kind of counters, finish of appliances”....astronomical!

You are the expert so why ask me?
The other sheep are the gentiles who will believe .
And other sheep i have which are not of this fold . JESUS was sent to the lost sheep of Israel .
Later to be preached also to the gentiles where there is now one fold that consists both of believing jews and believing gentiles .
ONE FOLD , ONE HEAD which is JESUS . Now lift those hands up and let the glorious LORD be praised .
And that one true fold WILL NEVER SIT UNDER THE RCC . PEROID . That is a fact . The true fold
will expose the RCC and any other who preaches falsehoods and call to those who sit under those falsehoods
TO COME YE OUT FROM AMONGST THEM . WE GONNA POINT TO CHRIST . THE RCC KNOWS HIM NOT . And that is a fact .

I have noticed that thee faith has posted 18,955 comments and only received 1238 likes. That tells you a lot.
You just caused his head to swell huge . HE thinks he actually follows JESUS
and he sees our disagreements as HIMSELF being judged for doing righteousness.
THE TRUTH is , IF you go into most churches , they would support thee faith and the all inclusive lie for unity .
Now when we get into internet sites , though more support his views , THERE are still a number on sites
that reject his views . BUT OVERALL the world loves HIS POPE francis , HIS all inclusive we are one unity views .
ITS swallowed up most churches now . ONLY a few solid sites still resist the movment of the dark harlot .
AND we are but a few . Just cause there are a fair number here who still resist it , DONT MEAN its like that at all
in the overwhelming majority of churches . the LAMBS are a small breed of folks . AND if ELIMINATOR has his way
he will cause us to be driven out . I SEEN what he wrote to the owner of said site . Another person picked up on it fast and i put a like
on their post . My saying is , IF Folks cant stand the heat then get out of the kitchen .
Illuminator and all push their wicked agenda , YET IF WE speak out against it he wants those folks dealt with .
NO , IF HE has the right to push his twisted agenda , THEN SO DO I have the right to expose it . AND EXPOSE IT I WILL
no matter the cost of doing so . I been banned from more sites than i can count . AND IT never has stopped me from warning
against that which is false . I have been called more names than i can count , AND IT WONT Stop me from exposing that which is deadly and dangerous . THE RCC IS DEADLY and dangerous and i shall not fail to warn against her . I desire not one soul to perish
not even those who hate me most . THUS I DO WARN and SHALL warn .

Biblically Mary is the royal and reigning queen mother!

In ancient Israel not kings wife but his mother was crowned queen!

1 kings 2:18 And Bathsheba said, Well; I will speak for thee unto the king.

19 Bathsheba therefore went unto king Solomon, to speak unto him for Adonijah. And the king rose up to meet her, and bowed himself unto her, and sat down on his throne, and caused a seat to be set for the king's mother; and she sat on his right hand.

20 Then she said, I desire one small petition of thee; I pray thee, say me not nay. And the king said unto her, Ask on, my mother: for I will not say thee nay.

A Seat: throne
King bows in respect
Right hand position of authority

The queen received the petitions of the people and presented them to the king Her royal Son!

Lk 1:32-33

Song of Solomon 8:5 Who is this that cometh up from the wilderness, leaning upon her beloved? I raised thee up under the apple tree: there thy mother brought thee forth: there she brought thee forth that bare thee.

And the birth of our Saviour is one that Mary, herself, with her freewill, said "YES", and delivered salvation for all mankind. Lk 1:38

Biblical Mary, mother of God, ever Virgin, sinless, mother of our salvation!

Mother of God Lk 1:43

Immaculate conception (sinless) gen 3:15 enmity or total war none of satans works are found in Mary!
Also Lk 1:28 full of grace lk 1:49 great things plural (immaculate conception of Mary and the miraculous conception of Jesus) Rev12:1 woman clothed with the sun. Immaculate purity

Without Mary being immaculate the Holy Spirit could not conceive the “holy” son of God in Her!

Lk 1:30 found favor with God (the salvation lost by Adam) mother of our salvation Lk 2:30 and cos she consented to our salvation! Lk 1:38

Perpetual Virgin Isa 7:14 matt 1:21
Lk 1:31-34

Spiritual Mother Jn 19:26-27 rev 12:17

Mother of the creator is mother of all creation!

Mother of the Redeemer is the mother of all the redeemed!

Mother of our Savior is the mother of all those who obtain salvation!
Lk 1:30

The Holy Spirit is “uncreated Advocate” and Mary is “created Advocate.” Advocacy for the Church is their common cause. Since Mary is full of grace and full of the Holy Spirit, her will, prayers, and advocacy mirror that of the Holy Spirit. (This does not make Her God)

Mary is depicted as the spouse of the Holy Spirit therefore the child to be born will be called holy, the Son of God.” Lk 1:35

This is nuptial language hearkening back to Ruth 3:8, where Ruth said to Boaz “spread your skirt over me” when she revealed to him his duty to marry her according to the law of Deuteronomy 25. When Mary became pregnant, Joseph would have been required to divorce her because she would then belong to another (see Dt 24:1-4; Jer 3:1). But when Joseph found out that “the other” was the Holy Spirit, the idea of his having conjugal relations with Mary was not a consideration.

Let us take our helper (advocate) and intercessor the Virgin Mary, Mother of God, so that she, who from the moment of her conception overcame Satan may show her power over these evil sects, in which is revived the contumacious spirit of the demon, together with his unsubdued perfidy and deceit. Let us beseech Michael, the prince of the heavenly angels, who drove out the infernal foe; and Joseph, the spouse of the most holy Virgin, and heavenly patron of the Catholic Church; and the great Apostles, Peter and Paul, the fathers and victorious champions of the Christian faith. By their patronage, and by perseverance in united prayer, we hope that God will mercifully and opportunely succor the human race, which is encompassed by so many dangers.

Gen 3:15 I will put enmities between thee and the woman, and thy seed and her seed: she shall crush thy head, and thou shalt lie in wait for her heel.

Lk 1: 35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

Lk 1:28 Hail Mary, full of grace!

It only by the power of the Holy Spirit thru the immaculate purity of Mary that the virgin-mother brings forth the Holy son of God!

Lk 1:35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

A new song!

Good enough for Angels!
Good enough for the Bible!
Good enough for me!

Hail Mary! Full of grace, the Lord is with thee, blessed art thou among women,
Lk 1:28 blessed is the fruit of thy womb, (Jesus) Lk 1:42 Holy Mary, mother of God, Lk 1:43 pray for us sinners, now,
rev 5:8 and at the hour of our death, Matt 24:13 amen!

It is really God who greeting Mary with the “Hail Mary”!
Lk 1:26 & Lk 1:45

Blessed art thou among all women! Lk 1:28 & Lk 1:45 & Lk 1:48

All generations shall call me blessed! Lk 1:48

A new song of thanksgiving for bringing our salvation!

And thanksgiving for the incarnation of Jesus Christ! The word was made flesh and dwelt among us thanks to Mary’s yes consenting to our salvation!

mary is not divine and may not be worshipped only God that’s the 1st commandment ex 20:2-6
