My heart goes out to the homeless people during this time of year especially. So I thought I would start a prayer thread for them.

May God lead them to churches that can help. Also to government facilities.

I saw a homeless man and talked to him the other day, he broke down in tears because he was so cold.

I've been homeless in the winter here in the Pacific Northwest and it is very painful. Please pray for them.

The area I live in, I am surrounded by them and know many of them over the years. they always have my prayers, I pray in agreement with you bro!
I recently saw a news interview with a woman and her husband cook hot meals 4-5 times a week at a local park, been doing it for about 3 years now. Last week, after the twenty or so homeless/disadvantaged had all left the park, (it only lasts about a hour each time, then they go on their way) she was approached by two police officers and they told her she was under arrest as they said she was holding "events"! They said that the park was for friends and family...she said these people ARE my friends...this is such a very cold place.

That's terrible. I was arrested when I was homeless just trying to stay warm and dry so I know how it can be. Thanks for your prayers. My heart goes out to them.
