Most if not all rapturists say the church is taken away already back in Revelation 4, but here we are in Revelation 16, right before the battle of Armageddon and Christ is saying He is still going to be coming as a thief unawares, the same language is being used to point to a pre-trib rapture, and we are well along into the time of the great tribulation already.
12 Then the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, so that the way of the kings from the east might be prepared. 13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. 14 For they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings [g]of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.
15 “Behold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame.”
16 And they gathered them together to the place called in Hebrew, [h]Armageddon.

Seventh Bowl: The Earth Utterly Shaken
17 Then the seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and a loud voice came out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, “It is done!” 18 And there were noises and thunderings and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such a mighty and great earthquake as had not occurred since men were on the earth. 19 Now the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. And great Babylon was remembered before God, to give her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of His wrath. 20 Then every island fled away, and the mountains were not found. 21 And great hail from heaven fell upon men, each hailstone about the weight of a talent. Men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail, since that plague was exceedingly great.If there is a pre-trib rapture, Christ would have taught that, but no where can you find any such thing said by Him.
Christ's coming is immediately after the tribulation of those days.
Luke 21, v20-24 already happened, Jerusalem was trampled by the gentiles beginning in 70AD.
20 “But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is near. 21 Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those who are in the midst of her depart, and let not those who are in the country enter her. 22 For these are the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. 23 But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! For there will be great distress in the land and wrath upon this people. 24 And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and be led away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.

v25-28 is the return of Christ, and is when our rapture event occurs. You can see the association of His second appearing, and our redemption is simultaneous.

Matthew 24
There is another reference to that 'Trumpet' and is the rapture event taught by the pre-trib rapture doctrine, but the trumpet sounds at the second appearing, and NOT before.

1 Thess 4, here is our rapture, notice again the trumpet. Which is after the tribulation. Also note, there will be some believers left alive after the tribulation of those days. Recall Christ says, God shortened the days of that time otherwise no flesh would be saved.
15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are [a]asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. The coming of the Lord is His second appearing.

This is the same Trumpet of God that sounds as Christ returns in 1 Thessalonians 4:15, and Christ brings with Him all those who had slept in Christ, meaning they had physically died and gone to be with the Lord in heaven.
50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption. 51 Behold, I tell you a [m]mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.”
55 “O[n] Death, where is your sting?
O Hades, where is your victory?”
56 The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Language barrier perhaps? Nothing I said here is against the scriptures. This is the same event, the return of Christ is our 'rapture'. Most people do believe in a rapture, what they disagree on is the timing on it, even so the word rapture is not in scripture, it is a concept as a search for rapture shows that very verse

Really?! So, you are not lookin for your redemption as He draws nigh? I'm sorry brother, not quite "getting" what you are saying. Are you actually saying that Jesus lied when He said that He WOULD return?
You speak of 'the rapture'. The Bible does not have your 'rapture'.
When the Bible speaks of the resurrection it says the resurrection.
You got what I said as well as meant. You're not worthy to be answered. You twister of truth!
