I believe the 7th seal is the time of the greatest ever divide on earth, with the space of about a half hour:
And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.
This 'space' is often overlooked, but it is a time, of about a half hour, that makes a clear division that make a complete break and separation between what was happening on earth before, and begins to happen on earth after.
All the prophecies of the Lord coming to earth among men, is about the Lord coming to judge and rule them on earth: The 7th seal and that space of time, is between man ruling on earth, and Christ ruling the earth.
Up to that 7th seal space of time, men ruled on earth, and many times with the tribulation and wrath of man upon the righteous, beginning with Cain against Abel.
That time on earth ends with the 7th seal, and after that space of time, the Lord's great tribulation and wrath begins over all the earth.
The 7th seal and it's space of time, begins with the second coming of the Lord to earth and first resurrection of His saints, to meet with Him in the air. At the end of about a half hour, the Lamb's wrath is poured out upon them remaining on the earth.
The silence in heaven is that of God, that takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked, and is followed immediately by the woeful of great sounds of trumpets over all inhabitors of the earth.
They heard the calling sound of the trumpet of the Lord at Sinai, and drew back from His face on the mount. They will hear the wrathful sound of many trumpets from the Lamb, and will hide from His wrath.
If people will not acknowledge the clear difference on earth, between the wrath of man, that works not righteousness of God, and the wrath of God that punishes with righteous judgment, then the last of great tribulation on earth is either said to be all from man or all from God: Tt's both and the two are clearly divided in Scripture:
Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.
And, behold, as thy life was much set by this day in mine eyes, so let my life be much set by in the eyes of the LORD, and let him deliver me out of all tribulation.
But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;
Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you; And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
There are two different manners of tribulation and wrath on earth: one of man that purifies saints, one of God that punishes the wicked.
These last days of man's tribulation and wrath among nations, will end at the 7th seal, when the Lord appears again, to first receive His own unto Himself, and then after about the space of a respectable half hour, He pours out His wrath from the air.
