To Be Christian

When we focus to much on Christ as a person, we can miss the unseen aspect of his nature which is essentially God. Preaching the word can be important but in our current day and age it has become arrogant, and when its not coming from a place of arrogants, people these days are hesitent to accept it through stereo type, stigma and the damage that has been done to the church on a whole. This damage comes from within, and manifests from a lack of truth and understanding. When we talk about being a Christ-in, it is simply to adapt the nature of Christ and become a living example of God himself. The nature of God however is very simple and can be summed up in one word. Give. Give your time, Give your wealth, give your love and give your life. Giving unconditionally is true sacrifice, this means giving people what they need, not what we think they need. To adapt the nature of God and to be as the Son, means to give life, we become a living representation and is the only true way to bring people to the Father.

Remember that when there are underlying conditions within our giving, it is not true sacrifice. But when our giving is unconditional it becomes pure. It becomes sinless. This is true sacrifice.

Gen 4:4-5: "Abel also brought a gift— the best portions of the firstborn lambs from his flock. The LORD accepted Abel and his gift, but he did not accept Cain and his gift. This made Cain very angry, and he looked dejected."

When we don't read the bible litteraly, and see it from a perspective of Truth we find that the underlying message is one that teaches us how to make proper sacrifice. Cains sacrifice was attached to his ego, this is why God refused it. In a simple sence cains sacrifice was not pure, meaning that he expected something in return. When we give with the expectation of something in return, this is not pure giving. This is sinful giving and not true sacrifice.

When we act in pure giving, this is not a response to God like you say. Pure giving, or sacrifice, is the will of the Father. The will of the father is the Son. So when we give in sacrifice we are forfilling the will of the father acting as the Son. This perspective is critical to interpret scripture properly throughout the bible. If not seen in this way, one essentually separates the power of God from within himself.

When you forfill the will of the Father, you become the the light my friend. Peace.

Lots of people call themselves Christian, but I think to be a Christian, you have to make a sincere effort to behave the way Jesus taught us to behave.

Correct, true enlightenment comes from the alignment and balance of both feminine and masculine aspects of ourself. This could also be seen as the spirit and the body. The spirit and feminine being love and emotional response along with body and masculine being of action or wisdom. The suppression of the masculine aspect of our psyche is common in new age religion and is considered mind controle. Because if no one takes action or practices wisdom in what they know, nothing happens. Here is the masculine as the bible teaches it:

John 2:15: "and when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables;"

Matt 10:34-36: "Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. And a man's foes shall be they of his own household."

This is how we uphold the truth.
