As we near the end of the book of Revelation we see the nations of the world being judged at a judgment called the The Great White Throne Judgment (GWT).

It reads as follows...

Rev. 20:11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

1. This judgment is for the people of all nations and follows 1,000 years after the judgment of the house of God.

2. There are 3 books opened at the GWT judgment..."books and another book" makes 3.

3. People at this judgment are judged by the works...not whether they accepted Jesus or God's grace.

4. The lake of fire produces death not eternal torment. That's why this is called the second DEATH.

5. Not everyone in the second resurrection is cast into the lake of fire. That is a religious contrivance. It's like saying.."everyone that did not have a place on the bus had to walk." Does that mean that everyone had to walk???

So in our time there is mostly religious confusion based on a lot of muddying the water with religious dogmas, fables, and superstitions that have crept in unawares by a lack of spiritual watchmen. I would think most believers have most of the above points wrong...and many have them all wrong. How can the modern religion derived from a historic muddling of Christianity get the bible so wrong???

Please refer to the point number for any challenges. Please TRY to act like a civil person when doing so! :) Thanks in advance.

Wrong.

Those who accepted Jesus before the start of the great tribulation are in the book of life.

“And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.” (Revelation 20:12)

The lake of fire produces death not eternal torment. That's why this is called the second DEATH.

Wrong again.

“And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.” (Revelation 20:10)

“And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.” (Revelation 20:15)

The bible is very clear that there is eternal torment for the wicked. They will have a conscious existence in the afterlife.

Mark 9:42-48
42 "And if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to be thrown into the sea with a large millstone tied around his neck. 43 If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life maimed than with two hands to go into hell, where the fire never goes out. 45 And if your foot causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life crippled than to have two feet and be thrown into hell. 47 And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into hell, 48 where

"'their worm does not die,
and the fire is not quenched
.'

Matthew 8:11-13
11 "I say to you that many will come from east and west, and recline at the table with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven; 12 but the sons of the kingdom will be cast out into the outer darkness; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth."

Matthew 13:41-43
41 "The Son of Man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all stumbling blocks, and those who commit lawlessness, 42 and will throw them into the furnace of fire; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 43 "Then THE RIGHTEOUS WILL SHINE FORTH AS THE SUN in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear.

Matthew 13:49-50
49 "So it will be at the end of the age; the angels will come forth and take out the wicked from among the righteous, 50 and will throw them into the furnace of fire; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Matthew 22:13-14
"Then the king said to the servants, 'Bind him hand and foot, and throw him into the outer darkness; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.' 14 "For many are called, but few are chosen."

Matthew 24:48-51
48 "But if that evil slave says in his heart, 'My master is not coming for a long time,' 49 and begins to beat his fellow slaves and eat and drink with drunkards; 50 the master of that slave will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour which he does not know, 51 and will cut him in pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Matthew 25:29-30
29 "For to everyone who has, more shall be given, and he will have an abundance; but from the one who does not have, even what he does have shall be taken away. 30 "Throw out the worthless slave into the outer darkness; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

2 Peter 2:1-9
But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them — bringing swift destruction on themselves. 2 Many will follow their shameful ways and will bring the way of truth into disrepute. 3 In their greed these teachers will exploit you with stories they have made up. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping.

4 For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but sent them to hell, putting them into gloomy dungeons to be held for judgment; 5 if he did not spare the ancient world when he brought the flood on its ungodly people, but protected Noah, a preacher of righteousness, and seven others; 6 if he condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah by burning them to ashes, and made them an example of what is going to happen to the ungodly; 7 and if he rescued Lot, a righteous man, who was distressed by the filthy lives of lawless men 8 (for that righteous man, living among them day after day, was tormented in his righteous soul by the lawless deeds he saw and heard)— 9 if this is so, then the Lord knows how to rescue godly men from trials and to hold the unrighteous for the day of judgment, while continuing their punishment.

Jude 4-7, 12-13

4 For certain men whose condemnation was written about long ago have secretly slipped in among you. They are godless men, who change the grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny Jesus Christ our only Sovereign and Lord.

5 Though you already know all this, I want to remind you that the Lord delivered his people out of Egypt, but later destroyed those who did not believe. 6 And the angels who did not keep their positions of authority but abandoned their own home — these he has kept in darkness, bound with everlasting chains for judgment on the great Day. 7 In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire.

12 These men are blemishes at your love feasts, eating with you without the slightest qualm — shepherds who feed only themselves. They are clouds without rain, blown along by the wind; autumn trees, without fruit and uprooted — twice dead. 13 They are wild waves of the sea, foaming up their shame; wandering stars, for whom blackest darkness has been reserved forever.

Revelation 21:8

8 But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars — their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death."

Revelation 19:20-21
20 But the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who had performed the miraculous signs on his behalf. With these signs he had deluded those who had received the mark of the beast and worshiped his image. The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur.

Revelation 20:10
10 And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

Revelation 20:12-15
12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. 13 The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what he had done. 14 Then death and Hades were thrown into The lake of fire is the second death. 15 If anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

Scripture uses these terms and phrases as synonyms:

Unquenchable fire
Fiery hell
Black darkness
Outer darkness
Furnace of fire
Fire and brimstone
The smoke of their torment
The lake of fire which burns with brimstone
Where their worm does not die and the fire is not quenched
The eternal fire which has been prepared for the devil and his angels

All of the above carry the same meaning and consequences for the wicked.

hope this helps !!!

Hi Epi,
I will choose one point.

"3. People at this judgment are judged by the works...not whether they accepted Jesus or God's grace."

Are these Christians here? And, is the judgement meant for their "works" for rewards only, and not for salvation? That is what I have thought for like, ever.

Hey Nancy! :)

No, not Christians. The house of God is judged before the judgment of the world...1,000 years before to be precise...at the first resurrection

4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

The first resurrection is based on holiness. The 2nd resurrection is based on righteousness.

The righteous are judged according to their works. Righteous is as righteous does. We see the judgment of the nations in Matt. 25 with the sheep and the goats. Those who did what was right..who treated the brethren of the Lord with kindness, are written in the book of life.

You need to read what you posted, the very passage you quoted refutes your statment that all nations (everyone) will be there

1. Death and hades are DELIEVERED to Christ (there is no ressurection)
2. Death and Hades are cast to the lake of fire.. this is the second death

Gods children are not dead. They are born again, Made alive in Christ. Promised to be raised by Christ (not delievered) as Jesus said in John 6

More nonsense and twisting the Bible like a pretzel . You don’t even know which scriptures are addressed to believers and which ones to unbelievers. Yikes.

Lol..It is not the holy that will be ressurected. it is the saved.

there will be no righteous person at the great white throne. They are judged according to their works. Because they rejected Gods grace. And they are found wanting. So then God turns to the book of life. There too they are left wanting. Because they did nto believe.

3. People at this judgment are judged by the works...not whether they accepted Jesus or God's grace.
This is obviously false. The Book of Life has all those written who have been saved by grace. And they are saved by grace because they have believed on the Lord Jesus Christ.

4. The lake of fire produces death not eternal torment. That's why this is called the second DEATH.
This again is totally false. The "second death" is in the Lake of Fire, and the Lake of Fire is for eternal torment.

5. Not everyone in the second resurrection is cast into the lake of fire.
This is the THIRD TIME that you have made a false statement. The second resurrection is for all those who were never saved and therefore were in Hades awaiting their final judgment. Therefore they are all cast into the Lake of Fire. Because they are judged "according to their works" there are degrees of punishment in Hell.

So Episkopos, you are once again found to be A FALSE TEACHER. And what did Christ say about false teachers. WE ARE TO BEWARE OF FALSE TEACHERS.

Totally unbiblical, of course. Read Matt. 25. And read where Jesus says... even a cup of cold water....that's not a religious scheme.

Matt. 10:42 And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.

The "whosoever" is anybody...regardless of religious beliefs. Righteousness is based on what you do...and also HOW you believe (not WHAT you believe).

How can you say there are no righteous at the GWT with such a dogmatic certainty?...that's not in the bible....quite the opposite.

You would have to throw out the words of Jesus as "obsolete" as some here do, to disprove the inheritance of the righteous.

Prove it or stop with the religious speculation....

So I can be a Muslim and if I give a drink to a little one I will be considered righteous?

Are you a universalist now?

By the way, I asked a question. You mock protestants, and you Definately not catholic, Who do you get your beliefs from? Who in the last 2000 years holds your view

So you’re not catholic and you’re not Protestant. So what church do you follow? Where did you get your belief system from?
The church of the living God, established 2,000 years ago at Pentecost. It is the sect that is everywhere spoken against (by carnal religious men)...because it is true.

Acts 28:22 But we desire to hear of thee what thou thinkest: for as concerning this sect, we know that every where it is spoken against.
23. And when they had appointed him a day, there came many to him into his lodging; to whom he expounded and testified the kingdom of God, persuading them concerning Jesus, both out of the law of Moses, and out of the prophets, from morning till evening.

The bible is very clear that there is eternal torment for the wicked. They will have a conscious existence in the afterlife.

Mark 9:42-48

Your so right... This is exactly what God told Adam and Eve... Wait... crap... not here...

Cain whom actually killed His Brother got the business end of eternal torment ... Again... not here... What???

Gen 4:10 He said, "What have you done? The voice of your brother's blood is crying to Me from the ground.
Gen 4:11 "Now you are cursed from the ground, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother's blood from your hand.
Gen 4:12 "When you cultivate the ground, it will no longer yield its strength to you; you will be a vagrant and a wanderer on the earth."
Gen 4:13 Cain said to the LORD, "My punishment is too great to bear!"

So Glad Cain had no idea abour Eternal Torment.... As His comment "My punishment is too great to bear!"
would be a Joke!!!
Now... Moses is going to give us the Law of God..... What??? No eternal torment ... Pay attention

Mat 3:11 "As for me, I baptize you with water for repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, and I am not fit to remove His sandals; He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.

Now what literal Fire has baptize you????

Mar 9:49 "For everyone will be salted with fire.

What Fire has salted you....

Luk 3:16 John answered and said to them all, "As for me, I baptize you with water; but One is coming who is mightier than I, and I am not fit to untie the thong of His sandals; He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.

Have you been baptize with fire... I Think Not!!!

Luk 12:49 "I have come to cast fire upon the earth; and how I wish it were already kindled!

You Think Fire is only for the dammed...
You speak as a Child... not knowing the fire of God

Hey Nancy!

Thank you :)
