Bill Gates wants to chop down and bury 70 million acres of trees to fight climate change

One moment, please...

I suppose to drive the lumber prices so high, people wont be building many homes, fewer families, which makes more carbon in the air. These globalist people do not care for you at all to be alive even.

Trees though take carbon out of the air, and gives us oxygen and wildlife habitat, but they don't care about that either.

One moment, please...

Dumb & dumber are running this country.

Dumb & dumber are running this country.

The craziness is of a demonic origin, they hate life, God, and people especially who are made in the image of God.

I agree, Scott.
To take away the very thing God made to keep our planet with the oxygen we and others need is about the most rebellious thing against God.

Dumb thing is they die also.

A stealth effort to bury wood for carbon removal has just raised millions

Kodama has raised more than $6 million from Bill Gates’ climate fund and other investors, as it pursues new ways to reduce wildfire risks and lock away carbon in harvested trees.

Been true for last few months now.

A California startup is pursuing a novel, if simple, plan for ensuring that dead trees keep carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere for thousands of years: burying their remains underground.

Kodama Systems, a forest management company based in the Sierra Nevada foothills town of Sonora, has been operating in stealth mode since it was founded last summer. But MIT Technology Review can now report the company has raised around $6.6 million from Bill Gates’s climate fund Breakthrough Energy Ventures, as well as Congruent Ventures and other investors.

Trees provide oxygen for our species on this planet. Earths lungs.

Maybe the UFO alien invasion theory isn't that far afield. Destroying the humans habitat planet, decimating human population, Mr. Gates foundation pursues implementation of global eugenics policy and programs, so to ready Earth for an alien race.

One that doesn't need oxygen. And whatever else is being destroyed by the will and acts of man.

I expect a movie will be out soon.

If true, Mr. Gates reverted his genius drive to zeros.

@Bill Gates, "When the last tree is cut, the last fish is caught, and the last river is polluted; when to breathe the air is sickening, you will realize, too late, that wealth is not in bank accounts and that you can't eat money."
