Schwab is not going to be around too much longer or it will be completely changed from current ownership.

They got hung with a huge stack of low interest government bonds. (Commercial paper assets leveragable for cash).

So they claim they are hanging on to them until maturity. (Bad move)

There are a couple of ways out of this mess...currently they are trying something new....honesty. (I know right?).

Basically every brokerage gives some advice in various ways through charts and graphs and where to look for opportunities to make money. Usually the information they give is heavily influenced by the positions they personally hold with stocks, bonds and etc. Usually you make a pittance if you don't lose a lot with their advice.

But lately they have been giving good advice to retail customers. Where I don't trust it holding up for long....I do see it as a strategy to gain depositors....which they desperately need PLUS working in concert with their retail investors they can make enough to survive for a while...eventually they will go back to screwing over retail investors...(only way brokerage houses can exist)

But realistically I Really don't see this working long term. So the WEF without Schwab or UBS or Ameritrade (recently acquired) ain't gonna matter much. Meryl Lynch? They too are in trouble....same with almost all investment banks. It ain't pretty out there.

I have watched a bit of the Hunger Games show but could not stand such at all, i could not watch such at all as it gave me the creeps and i got angered, not to watch such stupidity, then i seen our right wing PM T Abott boast about such rubbish once, very evil i though, someone who is into such, something is wrong with them ? depravity !
People are being lead by such stupid shows that such is ok ? Kids play stupid killing games ? such is not right it's evil and a percentage will be messed up in the head from such rubbish in some way, why is such portrayed so much. is it conditioning ?
