I can believe that's a real sign.

The Fed-Ex delivery hub here is about two hours from my house .
Anytime I order a fairly expensive item and it is slated for Fed-Ex delivery, it never arrives. They keep it.

Which makes for a lot of trouble getting refunded by the sender. So now, when this happens, as soon as the item doesn't arrive, I file a claim on-line.

Amazingly, my item arrives the day after. It's magic. :hmhehm

* A fond childhood memory. Miss riding in the cars and miss hearing the bell rings. *
Yes, yes I do.

And while we were filling up the attendant washed our windshield, and checked our oil.

New Jersey has a law that forbids self serve stations. An attendant pumps your gas. If you ask them to wash your windshield, they'll do that too.

When I use to travel out that way I'd tip the guy. Fond childhood memories. In New Jersey! lol

For some years I ordered very heavy boxes from Chewy (about 50 pounds of cat litter plus dry cat food).

The Fed Ex guys would always leave my heavy boxes down in the lobby.

I even complained about three or four times. The first time I complained a manager phoned me and claimed they would deliver to my apartment. Never happened.

So this senior citizen would take scissors to the lobby, cut open my big box and carry the heavy items one by one to the elevator, then down a long hallway to my apartment.

Sometimes kind neighbors would see me and help me carry the items. Some had the same problem with Fed Ex.

That's pathetic.

If I were you I'd contact the corporate offices of Fed-Ex. The local office is what is indifferent to those poor examples of customer service.

Keep a log of dates and time of delivery and your package tracking number, because that tells corporate who delivered it. Or, didn't actually do so, as the case may be.

You know you're not the only one suffering that lousy service.
