The desire for salvation and deep fulfillment is an integral part of our Christian life. As Christians, we believe that our hearts and souls strive for union with God and the discovery of the true purpose of our existence.
The desire to find a way to salvation, a sense of security and fulfillment does not leave us even in the face of a rapidly changing world. In our hearts we feel the desire to discover the path that will lead us to eternal happiness and intimacy with God.
One of the blessed gifts we have been given as Christians is the example and teachings of many saints who have shown us the way to salvation. Among them, Padre Pio stands out as a figure who speaks to our hearts and points to concrete steps leading to salvation. Padre Pio served God and his neighbor with devotion and dedication throughout his life. His spiritual wisdom, full of love, knowledge and deep understanding, speaks to our hearts even years after his death. His teachings and advice are still extremely up-to-date and valuable, touching even the most basic human needs.
In this video, we will focus on three elements that Padre Pio identified as essential to salvation. These are, above all, guidelines and signposts for each of us who want a deeper relationship with God and the discovery of true fulfillment. Padre Pio was not a theoretician; he was a man of deep faith and personal experience, which he translated into practical guidelines for each of us.
The first advice from Saint Padre Pio is that we should always pray to God in every situation, saying: "Your will be done, "Let your will be done." These simple words contain deep spiritual wisdom and are a signpost on our way to salvation. When we say "Thy will be done" in prayer, we are expressing our willingness to accept and submit to God's will. This means that we put our plans, desires and expectations into God's hands. Padre Pio taught us that God always knows what is best for us, even if sometimes we do not understand His plans. Devotion to His will is an act of trust and love that leads us on the path of salvation. The prayer "Let your will be done" is an expression of our full acceptance and dedication to God.
Padre Pio taught that God has a plan for each of us and that His will is perfect. When we say these words, we are expressing our willingness to submit to His plan, whatever our goals may be. This means that we turn to God with humility and trust, asking Him to guide our steps and shape our lives according to His perfect will. Also in the words "Thy will be done" we find deep humility. These words teach us that we are not self-sufficient and that we need God's care and guidance. By this we express our willingness to submit to His plan, even when we do not fully understand Him.
Padre Pio reminded us that our faith is not about controlling God, but about trusting in His wisdom and love. When we surrender ourselves to His will, we push ourselves beyond our limits and open ourselves to the infinite possibilities He has for us. Praying with these words, we discover that salvation does not consist in fulfilling our own desires or achieving worldly successes, but in giving ourselves fully to God and striving for union with Him.
The second piece of advice in striving for Salvation from Saint Padre Pio is the practice of offering God our every action. It is a deep and beautiful call that invites us to consciously engage in our daily duties and activities in order to give them to God as a gift of love. What does it really mean to offer our actions to God? It is not only a mechanical repetition of words, but above all an attitude of the heart that shapes our thoughts, intentions and motivations. Padre Pio taught us that dedicating our activities to God is not just about focusing on sublime or extraordinary activities. He encouraged us to do our every activity, even the simplest and most everyday, for the glory of God and for His love.
This means that we put God first by offering our actions to Him as a sacrifice. Offering our actions to God has a deep spiritual meaning. Through this practice, we express our willingness to put ourselves in His hands and submit to His will. The practice of dedicating our activities to God also helps us change our outlook on our responsibilities and daily tasks. Instead of viewing them as a nuisance or duty, we view them as opportunities to serve God and others. Each of our actions becomes an opportunity to express our love for God and neighbor.
Dedicating our actions to God not only leads us to a greater union with God, but also strengthens our bonds with others. When our actions are offered to God, we become more aware of the needs and sufferings of others. We take responsibility for the common good and engage in the service of other people. Our actions become a way to build a better world and introduce the kingdom of God on earth. It is important that the offering of our actions to God is combined with the intention of performing them in the most perfect way. Padre Pio taught us that it's not just about doing things, it's about how we do them. We should try to do everything with love, humility, responsibility and diligence.
Every action we take should reflect our desire to participate in God's love and promote His kingdom on earth. The practice of offering our actions to God is not always easy. Sometimes we encounter difficulties, fatigue, or temptations that make it difficult for us to focus and give consistently. However, in such moments we should pray for the grace that our will will be in line with God's will and that we will be faithful to our decision to give. Padre Pio taught that prayer and perseverance in the practice of sacrifice are essential for spiritual growth and salvation.
The third advice that Padre Pio presented as a signpost to achieve salvation is the desire to strive for an eternal reward in heaven, and not to achieve earthly gains. In today's world, we often focus on acquiring worldly goods, achieving material success, and satisfying immediate desires. We must understand that our temporal benefits are impermanent and transient, but eternal happiness in the presence of God is priceless and immutable. We often forget that we are only here on earth for a short time and our true destiny lies beyond this world. Padre Pio reminded us that our ultimate goal should be the eternal reward in heaven, union with God and the fullness of eternal joy.
Pursuing an eternal reward in heaven means directing our hearts, minds, and actions toward spiritual values that are enduring. Padre Pio also encouraged us not to become attached to temporal goods, but to become spiritually richer by developing virtues such as love, humility, patience, generosity and justice. These are values that matter not only in this life, but above all in the perspective of eternity. Padre Pio taught us that what is most important is our relationship with God and our salvation. Pursuing an eternal reward does not mean that we should be concerned only with our eternal life. It is also directing our heart towards others.
Padre Pio pointed out that love of neighbor is an inseparable element of our path to salvation. Mutual support, mercy, forgiveness and helping others are an expression of our love for God and the fruit of our faith. By serving others and giving ourselves to others, we participate in God's plan of salvation. Striving for eternity should lead us to sacrifice, faithfulness to God's commandments, care for our spiritual good and that of our neighbours. This attitude requires perseverance and determination. Padre Pio pointed out that our path to salvation can be difficult and full of challenges, but it is through these trials that we develop our faith and our relationship with God grows.
He repeatedly warned us against temptations that could lead us away from our purpose and encouraged us to persevere in patience and trust in God's leading. In our pursuit of our eternal reward in heaven, we must remember that our path is individual and personal. Padre Pio did not set rigid rules or templates, but emphasized the importance of an authentic and deep commitment to our relationship with God. Each of us has our own path to salvation, which God has prepared for us, and our task is to persevere in this calling and foll
ow the right path.

Padre Pio lists three things for salvation, Jesus listed one:

36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

Forget pio and turn to God's word to understand salvation and what the bible says of those that desired it. Once they believed, what did they do as was told to them according to the scriptural records? They were told to confess their belief as did the Ethiopian eunuch in Acts 8, consistent with Romans 10:9, Repent, as was told to the Jews on the day of Pentecost in Acts 2:38, and be baptized for the remission of sins, also per Acts 2:38.

That is the essence of salvation

The only proper conclusion when properly harmonizing scripture with scripture is that belief/faith in Jesus Christ "implied in genuine repentance" (rather than water baptism) brings the remission of sins and the gift of the Holy Spirit. (Luke 24:47; Acts 2:38; 3:19; 5:31; 10:43-47; 11:17,18; 13:39; 15:7-9; 16:31; 26:18) *Perfect Harmony*

The OP (TL/DR) seems to be promoting a works religion, unless I am missing something.
It may be good advice for living, but bad advice for salvation.

We are saved FOR good works but not by good works. (Ephesians 2:8-10) Sadly, too many folks try to "shoehorn" works "into" salvation through faith, not works.

This is something I have noticed in forum posts lately. "We are saved through faith." Oops. What happened to BY grace?

It is by GRACE that we have been saved, through faith...

Ephesians 2:8-10 NIV
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—
and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—
9 not by works, so that no one can boast.
10 For we are God’s handiwork,
created in Christ Jesus to do good works,
which God prepared in advance for us to do.
