Lost the house but the chickens lived. That's a miracle. I'm so glad.
God be with everyone suffering unimaginable loss to these fires.

Looting is still going on there. Thieves are even dressing as clergy to gain access to homes they want to burgle.

He didn't say anything about chickens on the video. Did you hear that elsewhere?
He was talking about spiritual implications of losing everything and being stripped down by God to prepare for something else. I thought he made remarks of deep insight.
I didn't hear anything about people dressing as clergy to infiltrate. But they did arrest two people who impersonated firemen.
The national guard and the LAPD are stationed at entry points and thoroughly are checking ID before letting anyone pass into the neighborhoods. Even the TV reporters are thoroughly checked out.
I heard about looters impersonating fire fighters.

Well, I guess we'r all very happy that you are a smart person.
Looks like Mell has been frazeled a bit by it all. but that would be like many of the very wealthy that copped it the same.
It would be like me seeing my 25yo lawn mower going up in flames, I would be upset like as well.
I like that mower as well and it's not insured !
That just reminded me, I have to change the blades on it now, I changed the oil yesterday.

I’m sure anyone faced with their home and belongings being burned to the ground would be saddened.
We have not experienced a fire…but did have 95% of all our household belongings and tools stolen and had coyotes steel our truck, destroyed the interior, wrecked the front end, then we were charged storage to recover the POC…but the State recovered Fines and the Released the Thieves and their human cargo… Tribulations happen on this Earth.

If folks want to follow a false gospel and end up in hell like Mel Gibson... they are free to do so
He's a catholic and that's a false gospel
It's not a matter of being "smart" to figure this out... all one has to do is compare doctrines of the catholic cult with what Jesus and His Apostles taught and it's easy to see Jesus and His Apostles taught God's Word while the catholics teach a different "jesus" and a false gospel... that causes people to spend eternity separated from God.

But, frankly my dear,
I don't give a dam.
You know,,,,Mel could rebuild another house...
no problem there.
But it's still their home.
They lost all their belongings.
I can't even imagine what that must be like.
I think of my pictures, videos of my young children (and even when older)
memories caught on tape,
objects collected over a life-time.
I can hardly even think of it and these people have lived through it.
Mel is in Matera right now (unless they wrapped up already) working on The Resurrection.
Matera is in the Basilicata ( I always thought it was in Puglia) and is a really unique. old town.
Great place to use as a location.
Can't wait to see his movie.
