Does Rev. Graham mean, pray that Mr. Trump repents of his lying, his narcissism, his arrogance, his vindictiveness, his sexual perversions, his adultery, his contempt for the U.S. constitution...

He encourages us to pray for the President daily.
DO NOT trust Franklin Graham

DO TRUST the Word of God

Do pray for Trump that satan does not fill his heart with pride whereby he becomes a modern day Nebuchadnezzar

No, you are referring to the measurable sins that we all are guilty of to varying degrees. The sin that we all should be repenting of, which cannot be seen, is turning away from God and then acting "God Like." When we turn away from worshipping God then the visible sins begin to manifest themselves in our lives as a sign that we have really turned away from God. The thing is that the manifested sins have consequences that remain, even after we are forgiven of them, that will impact our lives while we continue to live in a healthy relationship with God.

It is my belief that we should continue to ask God to also draw Donald Trump into His loving Embrace so that he has an understanding of his relationship with God and comes to understand his purposes for his life.

Shalom

I often watch videos of Trump doing interviews. Also, he did a very good Gospel message and greeting around Christmas.

After the assassination attempt, I noticed a real change in President Trump. He is a more humble person. And he does always acknowledge the Lord in saving his life and says his faith has become deeper now.

This message by Trump told the whole Gospel message.

Franklin Graham needs deliverance from the forces of darkness that have him deceived in to teaching the false OSAS cult doctrine so he himself needs more than just prayer... somebody needs to teach him God's Word! agree.gif

I've been washed in the Blood of the Lamb having confessed and repent of all known sins...

So, I'm not longer guilty because the Blood of the Lambs washed that guilt away.

It's possible I could do something sinful in the future... but if I did the Holy Ghost would convict me and I would confess and forsake my sin and be cleansed by the Blood of the Lamb and be clean from sin once again.

It's surprising that people claiming to be Christians keep wanting to hold on to their sin... maybe they enjoy being a sinner, I don't know. Weird.

The Trumpster oozes pride from every pore of his being.
I have watched many of the President's interviews since the assassination attempt. He is a much different man, a humble man. And he does give God the glory.... something most public figures are afraid to do.

Our President does have confidence but that's important for anyone in doing your work.

"fill"?

We all suffer from the sin of pride.

Satan is called "the king of pride" and only One Man was able to overcome his power = the LORD Jesus Christ

True. That's why after Christians find Jesus and are washed clean of their sins that God remembers no more Jesus said, any one of us who makes a habit of sinning does not know Him. And His Spirit is not in them.

1 Ti 2:1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;

1 Ti 2:2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

1 Ti 2:3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;

1 Ti 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

To varying degrees, yes we do. I agree with you.

But we are also, to varying degrees, each of us blessed, with the grace of humility.

If I had any confidence at all that Donald Trump were a believer in The Lord Jesus Christ, repentant and regenerated, his obvious faults would be far less troublesome for me. Because as both of us know, we are all works in progress, and at different stages of our journey.

But after spending a great deal of time over many years, listening to the man speak, he is definitely not a christian.

Nothing he has said or done since the alleged attempt on his life has changed my opinion. I know there are many here who who are convinced otherwise. You may even be one of them. And that's fine with me, you're my brother and I love you, you and your family are daily in my prayers, and I am grateful for the fellowship we have had together in the Lord.

As your brother who loves you, I feel its my duty to warn you. This man is a Judas Goat.

His sycophants in this forum will surely disagree, some respectfully, some with harsh words and accusations, others with fantastic explanations and hopeful expectations concerning his very obvious defects in character. They are free to believe what they will, and express themselves however they see fit. It matters not to me.

Is there anything that could change my opinion of Donald Trump?

In fact there is.

A very specific profession of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, followed by baptism.

Until that time comes (I wont be holding my breath), I will continue to see him for what he has proven himself to be.
I hope none of us will be continually judged by others by things we have done throughout our lifetime. Thankfully, God looks at our hearts.

There is a definite change in the President and he often talks about the Lord and he exhibits a deeper faith. But it seems that some people refuse to acknowledge that.

I think if he were up for Bishop I might protest (one who is blameless, husband of one wife, etc). But his position is as President of the U.S. I certainly wouldn't expect a man to meet that level of criteria (as God would for his church). There are likely more people in God's church that could run for President of the U.S but who should never be chosen to be a Bishop, so its like judging someone that is without (rather than within) and judging him by standards (like past adulteries, divorces, and pride etc) which even they themselves have in their own past.

I would think there is a difference between what to expect from a bishop (chosing from within the church) and Gods standards for him versus a President of a country. Theres nothing wrong with letting the best man win, but the perfect man will not be that man.
