I agree with this. Jesus being at the right hand of the Father is an expression of His position in relation to the Father. He is not below the Father, He is on equal standing with the Father. As He said, all power in heaven and earth was given to Him (Matthew 28:18).

Chapter 1 of Colossians I'll add.

Jesus Christ as the Word with God who is God is always in union with the Father. The only time that he seemed to not be was when he bore the penalty of judgment for us, for the atonement made available, on his way to where the cross would be, and on it. With his reign there will be the great approach to God's will that is to be on this earth as it is in Heaven.

He's omnipresent so he can be everywhere at once.

So Jesus will be here ruling for 1000 years with real Christians who will be ruling with Him.

And He'll be at the Father's right hand at the same time

But He must sit there at the right hand of the FATHER till all the enemies are defeated.

All his enemies will be in a position of defeat during the 1000 years since nobody will be able to oppose His rule over the nations

Since as you say, Christ is omnipresent, then why does He return and from where does He come?

In reality Christ is in the highest heaven right now today.
Ephesians 4:10
He who descended is also the One who ascended far above all the heavens, that He might fill all things.)

Yes, He is bodily in paradise, which is the third heaven (2 Cor 12:2-4). So, that is where He will be coming from and He will remain at the right hand of the Father the whole time He descends from there.

Acts 3

17 “Yet now, brethren, I know that you did it in ignorance, as did also your rulers.

18 But those things which God foretold by the mouth of all His prophets, that the Christ would suffer, He has thus fulfilled.

19 Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord,

20 and that He may send [c]Jesus Christ, who was [d]preached to you before,

21 whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since [e]the world began.

22 For Moses truly said to the fathers, ‘The Lord your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your brethren. Him you shall hear in all things, whatever He says to you.

23 And it shall be that every soul who will not hear that Prophet shall be utterly destroyed from among the people.’

24 Yes, and all the prophets, from Samuel and those who follow, as many as have spoken, have also [f]foretold these days.

25 You are sons of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying to Abraham, ‘And in your seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed.’

26 To you first, God, having raised up His Servant Jesus, sent Him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from your iniquities.”
