In Isaiah 1:11-14 God basically asks the people ‘who told you to bring sacrifices to me?’.
1 Chronicles 16:40 has Levites making sacrifices morning and evening in accordance with what was written in the Law which the Lord gave Israel.
Was the Law misinterpreted?

Good observation! It begs another question, was what Moses attributed to the Lord as saying, not what the Lord said?....and How can we know?
