I hurt my back last Sunday at work, got better, went back to work, felt a pop in my hip, cannot move out of bed today and absolutely need to go to work tomorrow.

Please pray my youngest will have a really long coloring day because I can't chase up and down the stairs, but if she gets hyper focused on an art project I hope to recover by tomorrow. I cannot call in again especially since I'm main person, basically.

I just prayed for you. I know what you are going through. Me too, my hip, popped. I went to the doctor and he said arthritis. I pray you'll recover fast, and you will.

Thank you, it probably is arthritis. I took something to ease the pain a little bit.

It's still a nice day - even if it's stuck in bed. My son went to the thrift store for art supplies and brought me back a bunch of books that he knew I would like and got himself a Bible and a little theology book. (Praise God, he is a teen. I am blessed.)

"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."

Even back pain

Have someone go to the store today and get you full length body pillows = at least four

You need these to alleviate the pressure on you back and hip in order to recover.

If you sleep on your side you need one or two pillows between your knees/legs.
If you sleep on your back you need two pillows under your knees to elevate them and thus relieve pressure/pain.

praying for your recovery = i know what back and hip pain is all about

Chiropractors can't cure arthritis nor can any doctor. It's just throwing money away. Doctors will give you a prescription in a heartbeat and will not tell you the side effects. I have from experience learned to trust in God for everything and am currently drug free no thanks to doctors. Jeremiah 17:5- Cursed is the man that trusts in man and makes flesh his strength and whose heart departs from the Lord.

She has not been diagnosed with arthritis. --

but I agree- - There is no cure for it. But chiropractic care actually does help arthritis. Easing the pain aids in ability to exercise which is a great benefit too. It also helps reduce inflammation. Also helpful is an anti-inflammatory diet full of omega 3's

No, but it runs in my family on my mom's side and I have all of the symptoms of RA and treat myself for it.

Omega 3s are a good idea and I need to take them more.

My son set up a heated blanket for me and I spent most of the day doing nothing and it's starting to feel better. If I do more of nothing and delegate a couple heavy lifting tasks tomorrow I should be better off. I'm just going to be more careful for another week or so.

HIIT really helps when I treat it BEFORE something happens and I need to get more on top of it.

I hope you reported getting an injury at work. You need to document that in case you need medical care for it.

Worker's Compensation is something all employers must have in case workers get injured on the job.

Employers have to pay for your medical expenses and depending on the injury, some people get financial settlements.

Praying, sister. :praying:
There actually is help for overcoming arthritis through diet. I've had about a 90% reduction in trauma-related conditions and pain (costochondritis, Tietze Syndrome, Thoracic Outlet Syndrome ...shoulders, ribs, back, and hips regularly out of socket). There were times I couldn't lift my head off the bed for my neck being severely out of alignment, couldn't use my arms, couldn't walk, used crutches, etc That hasn't happened in close to 2 years now. I have been carnivore for 2 years.

Thank you, it happened at work, but it's my own body doing it. I wouldn't do that to them. It wouldn't be honest.

I am also getting better now. I think after today it will be done and I'll start strength building exercises to prevent future injuries.

I did notice a lot of my fatigue went away when I had steak only for breakfast. I just can't get myself to do it every day. Lol
