How the Jehovah’s Witnesses sex abuse crisis in Pennsylvania unfolded

State prosecutors turned up troves of internal files revealing rampant abuse dating back decades
Long after a young woman stepped forward to say she was raped and beaten by a member of a Jehovah’s Witness congregation, law enforcement agents finally confronted Eric Eleam three years ago at his home in Butler County.

They questioned him about the repeated abuse starting when she was just 12, records show.

They asked him about forcing her to perform sex acts in the privacy of his home.

And they pressed him about his own admission to the crimes during a secret meeting with congregation members who launched their own inquiry — but never disclosed the allegations to law enforcement.

Did you hear about the guy that was put in to Jehovah Witness Protection?

He had to go door to door telling everyone he was somebody else! :csm

This is relatively common with the Jehovah’s Witnesses, you will find several cases on the internet with newspaper follow-ups. More beatings than sexual abuse but either way the congregation will deny and defend the abusers.

Those that bring up charges are usually excommunicated and same goes for those that leave the church. Even to the point of splitting up families. It is one of the reasons that some consider them a cult and because of the mental conditioning their study groups do in those Kingdom Halls with no windows. Professional interventionists also consider them a cult.

My aunt was Jehovah’s Witness and I have been in those Kingdom Halls and watched them prepare for interventionists, memorizing every answer for any scripture or question they might receive. And I have accompanied parents and law enforcement on rescue attempts. They pretty much consider anyone that tries to help them Satanists. It is a religion that can only lead to Hell.

The IRS should revoke their religious 501(c)3 tax exemption.

The child predator pedophilia advocacy group, NAMBLA, had one of those. Had.

Strip their tax free status and hit em where it hurts.

A temple of pedophiles.

Burn it to the ground.

That’s horrifying. What’s even worse is how long it was kept quiet. The fact that the congregation had internal records and even a confession but still didn’t go to the police—that’s not just neglect, that’s active cover-up. Decades of this stuff slipping through the cracks.
The thing that distinguishes JW religion and others is the JW leaders will not admit to any wrong doing and continues to hold to their shielding of molesters policy. In essence it is Jehovah who they think they are obeying by shielding these criminals from the authorities while the victims suffers further and the sex abuse continues.
It still is going on and the files are still being hidden by JW headquarters. Some Jw elders reported that they were told to shred their files.
You see, The religion still holds to the idea that a child must have 2 + eyewitnesses to their molestation!
Deut 19:15
While they think they are being obedient to God- they are actually blaming God for their insanity and lack of decency & love, non-protection of children, and allowing molesters to continue to molest others. It is a Pharisaical approach to the scriptures which is the norm for jws.

Gary Breaux, a senior official at their global headquarters known as the Watchtower made this statement on jw broadcasting--Their officail internet video channel.
“Our good reasoning is pretty solid on this,” he said.
He then looked down at a Bible and read from Deuteronomy 19:15: “No single witness can convict another for any error or any sin that he may commit. On the testimony of two witnesses, or on the testimony of three witnesses, the matter should be established.”

You must be signed into youtube to view this-

If no eye witnesses, and there never are to child rape- the victims are not believed, told to hush up about it, or they will be bringing "reproach on Jehovah's organization." It just simply did not happen in their minds.. When parents have asked if they can go to the authorities they have been told "it is in Jehovahs hands" that means that to disclose the crime would be giving Jehovah a bad name..by "bringing reproach on his organization.." IOW bad publicity. If the victim does not hush they are tossed from the religion and shunned.
The molester is allowed to carry on and even keeps his position in the hall (church)
It's a terrible shame.
We can only hope that in time they do make some real changes.

How do they live with themselves?

Seriously! Men, dads are surprising enablers.

The women, moms, are what's shocking given maternal instinct to protect the innocent, mother or not, should kick in.

They can't possibly think God approves.

So,are they actually Satanic perverts using Jehovah doctrine as a cover?

Plenty of Pedophile priests within the Catholic church, and the church hides them. Usually, relocating them.
And without warning the new relocation parish that a pedophile wolf is coming into the fold.

I think it is in Arizona, may be wrong there, where the RCC has a pedophile thought reeducation campus .
It's suppose to train these priests not to want to molest and rape little boys.
Boys being the primary target for obvious reasons

The leadership frowns on notifying the police. They would rather punish the victims into silence. As they have often stated to them, "Going to the police will bring reproach on Jehovah's name."

I pride myself on being a devout Christian, but if someone in my Church molests my child, or sexually abuses someone in my family. the police will have to go to the hospital to get a statement from them.

I've touched in this in my other post. It is a very serious thing to a Jw to be told they will bring reproach on Jehovahs organization.
it can end in being removed and then shunned by everyone they know. It also includes a loss of the JW teaching of the chance at eternal life which is to be earned in the JW 1000 year paradise earth.

In some countries, the Watchtower Society have lost their rights to government subsidies because of certain beliefs and practices.

That should warn the membership they're in a cult.

How do those intimidated by this tactic not realize Jehovah's reproach against pedophiles and their accomplices will be huge!

Of course Aunty Jane and Kiew will not comment on this. In Jane's own country of Australia, the Witnesses were under investigation for Child Sexual Abuse. Thousands of kept records by the Society. They keep records of all the pedophiles in the congregations worldwide and never inform their members with children. It's disgusting.

You would think that. But they are used to being told that so nothing clicks. This religion is very hard to grasp that it exists but it does. They are under mind control and is very real.
Some that are personally affected by this particular issue do end up leaving & they are shunned. The rest of the congregation has no idea why they left and assumes wrongdoing on their part.
Leaving the religion has it's own unique hardships since they see everyone outside the religion as worshipping satan . When it comes to someone who has been sexually abused- reaching out for help is paramount. What has been hammered into their brains about everyone outside the org is a real problem. Yes it's a cult. People don't like hearing that word, and they have no idea of what this religion actually involves, but it is true nonetheless.
