That reminds me of a true story about my uncle C. and aunt G. Happened many years ago on a Pennsylvania highway (I guess they weren't too crowded back then.)
Uncle was driving and he liked to talk a lot. Aunt was very overweight and apparently she leaned on the car door and fell out on the highway!!! It was said that Uncle C took awhile to discover she was missing!!! He was too busy talking. He had to drive back to get her. 
Thankfully she wasn't hurt. (I'm actually crying from laughter right now.)
* I heard it was an orange cat that made it up, but maybe I was misinformed. The point is and remains that it was made up by a cat. *
