Why did God gave me ADHD?

why do you think God give people **adhd**

i do not think it is a sin as it has been there since i was just a kid and yet i have no idea

for so many years i did not know

i thought just like other people i was normal

and thought just like them i would end up getting a normal life
but i end up getting an abnormal life that the society would vomit

it does reminds me of this verse

Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.

what i am struggling is being consistent
as it keeps changing every now and then

Apparently HE thought you needed it and the attributes it can cause for some reason....from hyperfocus to flying from topic to topic....
I dunno....but I am not you. And God deals with each of us on an individual basis.

It was God's choice and YOUR job to figure it out TOGETHER with God.

I struggle with similar questions as to why God made me the way He did. It really doesn't compute for me either. HE was really determined about it as well. Dunno....I don't get it. I'm definitely not worth it in my book. Maybe someone else is the reason....dunno.

But that's God's business....HE does as HE pleases and ultimately for GOOD reasons. Trust and obey.

ADHD is a part of the greater breakdown caused by sin entering humanity, as are all ailments and diseases. God did not give it to you, it has been inherited.

I'm both fascinated by Jesus's response to the disciples' question in the John 9 verses you quoted - and I'm frustrated by it.

I checked the Mayo Clinic's website. We don't know what causes ADHD. I don't know why our son was born with learning defects - or why he developed an incurable brain cancer. I don't know why my grandson was born with an autism-spectrum disorder. I don't know why a friend in my church got polio as a child and ended up crippled for life. I don't know why a childhood family friend's baby died of SIDS. I don't know if there even IS a "why". If there is, God alone knows it. We just have to deal with it.

And I don't know how the "works of God will be made manifest" in these cases - or even whether that answer applies to every case.

There are many who believe childhood vaccines are the culprit, the increased number of them given the children at too early an age, are playing a large part of the expansion of many of these ills that are increasing in children.

I have known many people who have been born with one condition or another and they do eventually learn to find their strengths and accept their weaknesses, or at least find ways around them that really work for them.

You will be okay, and I will pray for you also, and I am sure others here will do the same. Don't be too hard on yourself and set your mind to forgive others who might not understand. I think you will also be blessed when you do this.

I suppose the challenge is to display the works of God in such a situation, while trusting that one day God will take the time to explain the "why" of it to us.

Everyone has a mental disorder. ADHD is better than most. Most high achievers are ADHD because of hyperfocusing than regular people don't have. Control the hyperfocus on an endeavor that makes money. Thomas Edison for instance, you become obsessed with something to see it through. Don't take drugs, period. Coffee maybe. You have a superpower, train it and use it beneficially. Depend on the Holy Spirit to guide you. Make Jesus Lord of your life and it will all work out .

IMHO..

While God Gives Knowledge…and IS also the Giver of His Understanding…

God…IS ALL knowing, man is Not…
God Is Mysterious holds True.

We Know God “Gives” and God “Takes Away”… which covers a host of positives and negatives…

Yet to Remember, God Also “Allows”…positives and negatives to occur for a plethora of reasons…
Ending in a Result…(a sort of Force for the Record) for humans to exercise their FREEWILL to Choose or Reject Him.

IF an individual is presented with a difficulty…
Blame God? Reject God?
Or seek God and His Wisdom for How to Use the difficulty to Glorify God?

Why was my daughter born deaf?
I has never asked that question.
I did see a great challenge set before me, that instantly required my own shift to prepare for something completely foreign to me. I see now through the years, her role, purpose, of her positive impact on others, without regard to an others race, gender, age, status (according to society).

Everyone has a God established specific purpose in this Life.
Your Clinical diagnoses (of the world), may cause you a disappointment… But remember God has A bigger purpose for you in this life, exactly as you are. God bless you.

Many here might say you were possessed by a demon, but the truth is that the flesh is weak. This is why Christ allowed his body to be crucified on the tree... to reveal the weakness of the flesh and the strength of God.
