You asked who or what became flesh, but to answer that, you first have to ask: what became anything in the beginning?

God said, “Let there be light,” and by His Word, creation came into being.

In the same way, in a particular moment in history, Christ became the manifestation of God's Word in the flesh. Through his obedience to that Word and His willing sacrifice, He became the Living Word, the very embodiment of God's will and truth.

But John 1 can’t be understood in isolation. Trying to interpret it apart from the broader biblical narrative leads to distorted and unbiblical ideas.

There are many narratives that prove Jesus to be God.

My question is most simple:

John 1:1 states that the §Word was in the beginning and was God.

John 1:14 states that the §Word became flesh.

It doesn't say anything about a manifestation.
It states that the §Word was God.
It states that the Word became flesh.

WHAT became flesh?

you'd have to admit that the Trinity makes sense.

Trinitarians are both monotheistic and plurality of God's three persons.

We ourselves can not unpack every detail.
But we do not seek to put God in a one dimensional box.

In revelation, Jesus is called a lion and a lamb. Practically in the same sentence. Now it's not up to me to say "well, which one do I cross out because he can't be both?

He does not lower Himself to meet you; rather, He calls you to elevate your mind and thoughts to meet Him.

Colossians 3:2 "Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth."

To the human mind it is unbelievable.
So is leprosy healed, walking on water, power to calm a storm, God offering his Son for convicts and murderers, a virgin birth, over 100 prophecies fulfilled in Jesus short life, Jesus walking through walls, Phillips translation to another location, a coin said to be in a random fish that was,.....and soforth.

Yes well, Christianity does have its problems.
Like some that don't even understand their own religion/faith.

Satan has a lot of power.
He walketh about - seeking whom he will devour.
