I was wondering, what the individuals that are supposedly anti-government, that fight against stricter gun laws, because they need to have their guns to protect them from a aggressive government, think about THEIR PRESIDENT, sending in Federal troops on Washington DC. even though statistics state that crime levels are down, (but you know that creation in office don't care) I'm going to sit back and see these comments....
I oppose more stringent gun control laws because the Bible teaches us that all men are sinful and therefore not to be trusted with too much power, and that every man has a God-given right to defend his life and liberty against a government that becomes tyrannical (Proverbs 29:2). However,
this does not give license to rebel against every single action of a government simply because it is the government taking that action. On the contrary, Romans 13: 4 clearly states that rulers
are “the minister of God to thee for good”, that is, to “reprove… such as do evil” and to
“bring… the mighty act of God against the soul of the wrongdoer.” That is precisely what My President did when he declared a public safety emergency and dispatched federal troops into D.C.
he acted to repress crime and disorder.
Some will point to the fact that crime was low in saying this, but facts and statistics do not discount the fact that men, women and children were still suffering the ravages of violence and that it is the duty of the government, before God, to put an end to it. Bringing federal troops and marshals and other federal resources to bear to restore order
is not an act of tyranny,
it is the government carrying out its God-given duty.
Therefore, I can and do oppose gun control, for I fear the concentration of too much power in the hands of sinful men; and
I can and do support what the My President did, for in this instance he acted well within his lawful power
to preserve the peace and protect the citizenry. That is the role of a ruler.
I'm going to sit back and see these comments.... so I know who sides with evil unbiblical thinking of the left who pushes everything God hates. They support killing unborn babies (Exodus 20:13), twisting gender and marriage (Genesis 1:27, Romans 1:26–27), putting men in women’s sports and calling it equality (1 Corinthians 14:33), corrupting kids with perversion, silencing Christians (Acts 5:29), and celebrating sin instead of calling people to repent (Isaiah 5:20, Luke 13:3). This isn’t about politics, it’s about truth. If you claim to follow Jesus and still support a platform that openly mocks His Word, you’ve got a serious problem.
