Matthew 24 is not about the rapture. It's about the return of the Lord at the end of the tribulation when he will separate the wicked unto judgement and the believers will be given the kingdom on earth
Matthew ch24 is the Second Coming of Christ

Only at His Coming will the Rapture take place and only AFTER the Resurrection = OT Prophets, Gospel, Apostles, Revelation

Lots have different views on when the rapture happens
I think it is before the tribulation
I think this verse applies................[2Th 2:7 KJV] 7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth [will let], until he be taken out of the way.................I think the he is the body of Christ rapture
You dont have to agree

We are to align our thinking with Christ and His words of Truth = yes or no?

2 Thess 2:7 - For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only He who now letteth [will let], until He be taken out of the way

There is one specific word in this verse that disqualifies the Body of Christ from "be taken out of the way"

What word is it?

Amen

For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. 1 Thessalonians 4:15

The resurrection and rapture occurs at His coming.

If "yes" then you would need to accept that everything happened in the 1st century. Because both Jesus and apostles prophecised everything, including the coming of Jesus, will happen in their life time.

Whenever we are talking about a future rapture or future end times or future beast/antichrist etc., we are adding to, ignoring and reinterpreting what is said in the Bible.

"He"

The Body of Christ is never referred to as "He"

'SHE' = is the Body of Christ
The BOC is called one new man never she in the KJV

I am not certain about that verse it could be its talking about the man of sin being taken away

Jesus came offering Israel the promised earthly kingdom but this was rejected by Israel and the kingdom postponed

Why would the tribulation that verse is talking not be about what God did when the Jews murdered Jesus?
Great question - thank you
Yes indeed = God did cast great tribulation upon the Jewish people who rebelled and murdered their Messiah = as prophesied by Jesus

That tribulation was for a specific nation at a specific but LIMITED time & Place = unrepentant Jews/Israel

The Great Tribulation, as prophesied by Jesus in Matthew ch24 AND by the OT Prophets, is for the entire world, along with the Jews/Israel.

Yes in part but not in WHOLE/COMPLETION

Just as our seasons and cyclical an drepeating, so also is the "mystery of iniquity" until it reaches it's fullness and is ripe for Judgment

The One New Man is referring to Jew and Gentile being brought together by the Blood of the New Covenant = CHRIST
This is an ongoing Development and will be Perfected/Completed unto Fulfillment when CHRIST Returns.

For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity.
And He came and preached peace to you who were afar off and to those who were near.
For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father. - Ephesians 2:14-15

SHE = the BRIDE of Christ is always referred to as 'female' gender = SHE
This goes all the way back to OT times as well = Hosea ch2

1Say to your brethren, ‘My people,’
And to your sisters, ‘Mercy is shown.

2“Bring charges against your mother, bring charges;
For she is not My wife, nor am I her Husband!
Let her put away her harlotries from her sight,
And her adulteries from between her breasts;
3Lest I strip her naked
And expose her, as in the day she was born,
And make her like a wilderness,
And set her like a dry land,
And slay her with thirst.
4“I will not have mercy on her children,
For they are the children of harlotry.
5For their mother has played the harlot;
She who conceived them has behaved shamefully.
For she said, ‘I will go after my lovers,
Who give me my bread and my water,
My wool and my linen,
My oil and my drink.’

And this is our adding to the biblical text. Bible says nothing like that.

Why is it called the time of Jacobs trouble?

Are there two times of Jacobs trouble or was the tribulation around the cross not the time of Jacobs trouble?
