From my X / Twitter “For you” feed this afternoon -

“It’s amazing that we celebrate birthdays of great men like George Washington with holidays, but 90% of the world is oblivious to the fact that TODAY is the birthday of the MOST PERFECT human person to EVER exist.

This should be a global holiday!”

(Same source as post #399. Show the slightest interest and X / Twitter will sock it to you.)

Before the boo birds call, remember that Jesus isn’t a human person in Nicene theology.
There is the obsession with Nicene creed again... catholics have a weird Mary obsession- I think we all know that much.
Jesus is not seen merely as a perfect man like Jws teach and you.
He is the very Son of God born of a virgin. Were you?
He had no earthly father like you and me---
His very DNA would be unique.....He was not only just like you.
He was the son born of a woman- so of course-
He was man like you--in a body of flesh and was tempted like you and hungered like you..etc etc
He was the Son of God- NOT like you.
He was sinless, He recalled his former life in heaven, he said he came down from above, He knew all men's thoughts, He said he came out from God, He said He would go back to heaven.. Through Him all of creation came..

You deny His own testimony about Himself and the apostles--That's a real problem Matt for you and the Christadelphians.

You point out verses where Jesus is called a man but twist or ignore the rest!

Plans do not have memories of existence. Jesus did.- He knew who He was, and where He came from, and where He was going back to.

Stop being ridiculous.

The Nicene Creed is something anyone interested in becoming a Catholic / Christian needs to become familiar with. That’s the subject of the thread.

If you want to talk about me, start a thread. It won’t draw much interest.

You are a tough nut Matt. You bring things up in your posts but no one is supposed to comment on what you say other than agree with you?
And there it is. you're a pot stirrer who then runs and hides behind his own words as if you never said them. But hey, as long as you can get your little digs in..
No I don't want to talk to you about your religion. I did. You compared Jesus to a computer memory.
Shall I look that up for you before you deny it?

Feel free to disagree with anyone you want, for any reason you want. What I suggested is that you address the topic of this thread in this thread - and I’m not the topic of this thread. If you want to discuss me, start a new thread.

There is nothing wrong with commenting on an old post from 2018 even if he writer of the said post is no longer present on this forum.

Perhaps the members now may like what you will post and perhaps they may even agree with your thoughts. Even if the members at present do not respond or if they voice either their agreement or disagreement with your thoughts on the said post from 2018, then at least you have tried to start a discussion. Now if your comment or reference to the said post from 2018 gets no reaction from the current members then you have to accept that members are no longer interested in that thread's topic matter, and it indicates that it is time for you to move on as well without stirring other members to get some attention time.

Sure there is nothing wrong with it- I didn't say there was. I just chose not to.
A jw who became a catholic and asked for his account to be deleted...
I don't know enough about Catholism to say very much, nor do I care to know more than I do. I leave that to former catholics.
I'm glad he at least got out of the JWs. That I do know everything about.
I understand WHY he saw the RCC as his answer. You would have to understand his jw programming to understand that. I don't agree with him.

From my X / Twitter “For you” feed this morning -

“Upon reading history, my intellect was converted to Catholicism.

It was only until I started praying the rosary that my heart was converted.

The blessed Mothers intercession made me love Jesus more than I could ever know.

Ave Maria.”

Read widely, deeply, thoughtfully, critically.

First and foremost, read the Bible. Read church history.

See the disconnect if / when there is one.

If you want to become a Catholic, the subject of relics is something you will need to explore, become familiar - and comfortable - with.

”From the finger of St. Thomas to the arm of St. Jude to the miraculous blood of St. Januarius and the Shroud of Turin, the Catholic Church is home to a plethora of relics. To an outsider, the tradition of venerating relics may seem strange; however, the roots of the practice are found in Scripture as well as in the ancient tradition of the Church.

Below are 10 of the most asked questions pertaining to relics and their veneration.”

Just ask this question.

Why does the Mary Cult collect dead body parts?

Or, ask this question....

Where in a bible, is a verse that says to collects dead body parts as a part of CHRISTIANITY. ?

In the OT, in Numbers 19, it teaches that you are made UNCLEAN if you touch a dead body...........so, if you are collecting dead body Parts......just how unclean are you?

You say that you're not a Catholic…

That’s because I’m a Jewish monotheist, not a Catholic.

… yet you are defending the MaryCult, in many posts.

No. You oppose Catholicism in a negative way. I oppose Catholicism in a positive way.

I’m not defending. I’m educating.

Too late now....

I’m registered as “Other Faith”. I doubt that there are many, if any, members of the forum besides you who believe I’m an undercover agent of the Catholic Church.

See, on a "christian forum", you are KNOWN by what you defend or teach.

It’s not too late for anyone alive to learn and then make an informed decision.

No. I brought your attention to the Christianity Board Statement of Faith because it states that Catholics are Christians.

I never stated that All Catholics aren't Christians.

So, i'll bring that to your attention, again.

It was opposition to your method.

My "method" is to highlight what the MaryCult teaches.

Like this..

And you may consider this "opposition" to the MaryCult theology.

-
1.) ""Peter as the 1st Pope"" is not found anywhere in any bible.

2.) Mary as a "'perpetual virgin" is not found in any bible

3.) Mary "ascending to heaven in her dead body"....is not found in any Bible

4.) Mary, as "co-author of Salvation". (Mediatrix) is not found in any bible.

5.) "Praying to Mary", is not found in any bible.

6.) "burning candles to Mary", is not found in any bible.

7.) "'Praying to dead Saints" is not found in any bible.

8.) "Collecting dead body parts as RELICS"< is not found in any bible.

9.) "The Rosary" and "Praying the Rosary"...." is not found in any Bible.

10.) "doing Penance" is not found in any bible.

11.) "canonizing Saints" is not found in any bible.

12.) "Purgatory" is not found in any bible.

13.) "Priests can't get married"......is not found in any bible.

14.) "Praying through Mary, to Christ".... is not found in any bible.

15.) """Kneeling or bowing before a statue of Mary"" is not found in any bible.

A.) If everything the MaryCult teaches that is not found in a BIBLE, was removed from the MaryCult.......the MaryCult would cease to exist.
