In revelation 20:4-5, it describes the martyr's that were resurrected up at Jesus at His second coming, and says this:The great tribulation has not occured.
I believe it will one day.
I also believe there will be one resurrection and not two.
I also believe there will be no rapture.
And Jesus is coming back one time...not two - at the end.
I find it disconcerting that we Christians do not agree, we should.
Acts 24:15-16
14 "But this I admit to you, that according to the Way which they call a sect I do serve the God of our fathers, believing everything that is in accordance with the Law and that is written in the Prophets;
15 having a hope in God, which these men cherish themselves, that there shall certainly be a resurrection of both the righteous and the wicked.
How many resurrections are here,,,,this is Jesus speaking: (I see only one).
John 5:28-29
28 "Do not marvel at this; for an hour is coming, in which all who are in the tombs will hear His voice,
29 and will come forth; those who did the good deeds to a resurrection of life, those who committed the evil deeds to a resurrection of judgment.
4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the "second death" hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
verse 5 points to the Great White Throne Judgment for those who remain in the grave after Armageddon. This is what the bible refers to as the Second Death.
