I'm glad you brought up the subject of delusion.
From Wiki
A
delusion[a] is a fixed belief that is not amenable to change in light of conflicting evidence.
[2] As a pathology, it is distinct from a belief based on false or incomplete information,
confabulation,
dogma,
illusion,
hallucination, or some other misleading effects of
perception, as individuals with those beliefs
are able to change or readjust their beliefs upon reviewing the evidence. However:
"The distinction between a delusion and a strongly held idea is sometimes difficult to make and depends in part on the degree of conviction with which the belief is held despite clear or reasonable contradictory evidence regarding its veracity."

There are many people who have been blessed by God with the ability to question the accepted narratives, they are small in number, but their numbers are growing.
There are many other people, most sadly, who are completely incapable of doing so. By definition, it is those people who in fact, suffer from delusion.
The Bible tells us that Satan is a liar. The bible tells us that Satan is the god of this world. The bible tells us that the whole world "lieth in wickedness". The bible warns us not to love the world or the things in the world. The bible warns us not to trust in men. The bible tells us that many are called but few will be chosen. Should I continue? Would it matter at all if I did?
Those of us who have been blessed to see beyond the veil, to question what those who have been blinded by science and academia can never question, are often so overwhelmed by the amount of misinformation and outright lies that we have been indoctrinated from birth to believe that we cannot help but question our own sanity at times. These are not the actions of a delusional person, delusional people never question their own sanity, or their perceptions of reality, they cannot do so.
2 Thessalonians 2:7-12 (KJV)
For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
