I just found something fascinating on YouTube, it is a documentary on the battle for Jerusalem and the destruction of the 2nd temple, Jesus spoke of this and prophesied during his ministry on the earth-

“And Jesus went out from the temple, and was going on his way; and his disciples came to him to show him the buildings of the temple. But he answered and said unto them, ‘You see all of these things, do you not? Truly I say unto you, there shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down’” (Matthew 24:1-2)

In this video the Roman general Titus and 60 thousand Roman troops lays siege to Jerusalem in the year 70 AD and eventually sacked the city and burns down the 2nd temple, thus fulfilling the words spoken by Jesus! This is an awesome history lesson and you can see the words of Christ come to pass, you might want to take a look at it, only 15 minutes! I would highly recommend watching the video below!

How does this new topic differ from what we already have?

Contrary to popular belief, Matthew 24:1-2 is an unfulfilled prophecy. There is still one stone upon another.

Name one recognized pre-1800 Christian exegete who believed that.

Just one.

Contrary to modernist revisionist Scofield dispensational futurized fantasy and fallacy, Matthew 24:1-2 was completely literally fulfilled.

OK. If all the stones have been thrown down, what sign was there when that event occurred?

Luke 21
6 As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

7 And they asked him, saying, Master, but when shall these things be? and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass?

Luke 21
20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.

I've answered your question.
So your answer is not making much sense. You claim that the sign given when there will not be one stone upon another is when Jerusalem is compassed with armies. Why did you stop reading? Let's continue to read.

Luke 21
20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.

21 Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.

22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.

After Jerusalem is compassed with armies, those that in Jerusalem are told to flee. They are fleeing to a place prepared by God in the last days.

We know that because the days of vengeance are when God takes vengeance on the world. It is the wrath of God that begins when the 7th seal is opened.

Further, this is when all things that are written may be fulfilled. Were all things that are written fulfilled in 70AD? Of course not. So your answer is obviously incorrect.

Honestly, I don't waste my time reading what other people, in the past, think about end times. The only research I have done is seeing what the early Church thought about the pretribulation rapture. I would recommend this to anyone that thinks that John Nelson Darby was the first to believe that there would be a rapture before the great tribulation. Even though I have not really studied the writings of Darby, I have great respect for him as from what I gather, he claimed that the nation of Israel would have to be reborn. And he was obviously correct.

I would not expect there would be many from pre 1800's that would have a clue about end times as the books are sealed until the time of the end.

Not only are the books sealed until the time of the end, those pre 1800's people had very little access to information. And most of the teachers were pretty clueless. How could they know, the books were sealed? Further, Israel was not even a nation yet, so many got sidetracked by incorrect conclusions.

Do you know what "your turn" means?

What to believe?

1. Your futurized fantasies.
or
2. The entirety of pre-1800 Christian exegesis on Matthew 24:1-2.

Need a hint?

Sure, go ahead, spell it out.

Additionally, are you unable to address the FACTS, that all things written were not fulfilled in 70AD? Do you not understand that the time of vengeance is the wrath of God?

I don't think you understand these things because you are studying commentary from pre 1800's men who don't have a clue because the books were sealed.

Your options:

1. Just one name

or a copy/paste of the following quoted admission:

2. "I admit that I'm unable to provide Just one name".

Once you reply acceptably with one or the other, then we can proceed.

Ok. I got the game. So first before I answer, let me ask this question.

Before the 1500's provide just one name of someone who believed in germs.

Your options are:

1. Just one name.

2. There are no germs.

Tisha B`Av - Mourning. 17th of Tammuz - 9th of Av)

This is a Three Week annual mourning period that falls out in the summer, from 17th day of Tammuz to the 9th Av. This is when Israel mourns the destruction of the Holy Temple and the launch into a still ongoing exile.

Israel remembers the time when the Babylonians destroyed Solomon`s Temple in 586 B.C. The walls of Jerusalem were breached on the 17th day of Tammuz (the fourth month). (2 Kings 25: 3 - 4)

A few weeks later after all the executions and deportments were sorted out, the captain of the Babylonian army finished his directive. Beginning on the seventh of Av and continuing through the tenth of Av, he set his army on a burning rampage. They stripped the breathtaking Temple of all it gold, silver and brass. Finally, they reduced to ashes the house which the Lord had chosen to call His own. (Zech. 7: 3 & 5, 8: 19 mourning)

But the tragic sage was to continue. Six centuries later, Israel repeated her sins with the same disastrous results. This time Israel rejected its Messiah. And on the ninth day of Av A.D. 70 the glorious rebuilt Temple was destroyed by the Romans.

Anti-Christ `s Image - 9th Av (Temple Desecration)

The anti-Christ gets an image of himself set up in the Jewish Temple. This is the abomination of desolation, placing himself in place of God. (Rev. 13: 14 & 15) This will (I believe) occur exactly on the 9th of Av, which is the Jewish greatest day of mourning for their Temple desecration.

I've noticed a common theme on these forums. Those that do not believe in a rapture before the great tribulation, are afraid of FACTS.

I proved to you in our previous posts that there is still one stone upon another according to scripture.

We know that is the case, because it will be the days of vengeance which is the 7th seal wrath of God. At the end of the days of vengeance all that is written will be fulfilled.

Instead of addressing the facts, you want to hide behind a game.

It always puzzles me. Don't you even want to know the truth?

You believe that the prophetic insight, faith, vision, and sacrifice of the historic heroes of the faith, is a game.

I don't.

And yet you run from the FACTS.

There is still one stone upon another in the buildings of the Temple. Matthew 24:1-2 is yet unfulfilled.

The sign that you gave only proves it.
