Impossible. The economy is very strong. Stronger than most consider. 10 USA states have an economy greater than most countries. California alone is the 4th largest in the world. Without the USA you'd better be a good farmer, because the world would be in big trouble. 9 out of 10 companies in the USA control the food supply in the world.

The US used to have many military bases in Greenland and we abandoned all but one. Denmark has already said they would cooperate with the US if we want to refortify Greenland; after all, the US and Denmark are NATO allies. But Donald doesn't want to do that. Why? He's acting like an aggressor toward one of our allies and and risking the whole NATO alliance. That's pretty dumb if you ask me.

Did you notice the people speaking for Greenlanders in these news blips are white Danish Europeans?


Due to world geopolitics, China holds most of the cards regards to rare earths, which are super important to all things electronic today from motors, to phones, to the military. If they shut off the supply, then the entire electronics industry stops cold. Greenland's ores are super rich in yield compared to everywhere else. Neither Greenlanders not Denmark have the will, finances or desire to develop these natural resources, (oil and rare earths) and even if they did they would have to have a partner, like the US or China to put in the infrastructure to get to the resources, it will take billions of dollars of investments in Greenland before any significant rare earths come out. And there is over a trillion dollars of oil in the seas surrounding Greenland. Someday someone is going to be mining and drilling in Greenland and the western powers don't want China or Russia doing it, and Europeans countries do not have the free cash money to make it happen. US has over many years forcibly kept China out of Greenland, no way will the US under any POTUS allow either Russia or China to gain a strategic advantage in the region.

If China were to cold stop all rare earth exports today, which would be a massive crisis, tomorrow the US will in 30 minutes take over Greenland as it is too strategically vital to national interests. And likely Europe would agree. And there would be a while before rare earths mining could pickup volume. That is why you get ready today in planning for the bad things that can happen tomorrow.

Greenland's global position is how we can know by monitoring bases if someone is firing missiles at N America over the North Pole with enough time to do something about that.

Recall the Cuban missile Crisis, there was almost nuclear war over that. Greenland today is even more of a concern than Cuba was back then.

And Europe is beholden to the US for it's security from Russia. They can not defend themselves without US.
