Nothing of importance to read here, time to move on

Real Christians have moved on from trying to live under the law of Moses and instead walk with Jesus under the Law of Chrsit as the New Testament teaches

Here you go again, Paul, Paul this, Paul that..what about Jesus? what he teaches, asked us to do, of no importance to you?

The false teachers claim we are supposed to ignore Jesus' teachings and follow Paul instead which is idolatry

He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
1 John 2:4

Yep, this is why they are heretics

Think you need to qualify that, do you never tell any even little fibs?

Here we go again - false teachers claiming every sins all the time and living in sin is normal. clueless-doh.gif

Correct.
Jesus is LORD
and Jesus is Lord.

Paul refers to Jesus as God...
Titus 2:13
13 looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our
great God and Savior, Christ Jesus,

I'll post from a source is instead.

160 reasons why Jesus is God (thanks to @GRACE ambassador )

Complete Case Why Jesus is God from the OT and the NT.
Since over a hundred scriptures define them separately I read that verse with the AND as in God AND savior Christ Jesus.

The whole Yeshua in the Old Testament thing.....Unless you can find Yeshua's name in the Old Testament I am going to go with Yahweh when He says several times He is the only God and there is no one like Him. What they are referring to in the New Testament for Yeshua being the creator God is up in the air for me. One of those things I will have to ask when I get to Heaven because the Old Testament say Yahweh created everything and the New Testament says Yeshua created everything.

Since over a hundred scriptures define them separately I read that verse with the AND as in God AND savior Christ Jesus.
Except that the AND is not present....
We are warned not to add to scripture. Revelation 22:18-19

They are defined separately because they are two different PERSONS...
of the same substance and nature
of the same will and eternal.

The whole Yeshua in the Old Testament thing.....Unless you can find Yeshua's name in the Old Testament I am going to go with Yahweh when He says several times He is the only God and there is no one like Him.
This is correct. There is no other like Him.
Nothing on this earth like Him.
God is not like us...which is why we just have to ACCEPT WHAT He is.

Guess you didn't like the list.

What they are referring to in the New Testament for Yeshua being the creator God is up in the air for me. One of those things I will have to ask when I get to Heaven because the Old Testament say Yahweh created everything and the New Testament says Yeshua created everything.
Because they are the SAME BEING.
But different PERSONS.
It might be up in the air for you GH....
but greater minds than ours accepted this in the very beginning of the church and even explained it.

Why do you think John wrote his gospel?

Gnostics had invaded the early church, teaching, among other doctrine, that Jesus was a man.
John wrote his gospel to prove that Jesus is God.

These are some teachings that are offered by John:

JESUS GIVES LIFE TO THE WORLD
John 5:22
22 "For not even the Father judges anyone, but He has given all judgment to the Son,

JESUS JUDGES THE WORLD
John 5:27
27 and He gave Him authority to execute judgment, because He is the Son of Man.

THERE IS A DIVINE UNITY BETWEEN FATHER AND SON
John 10:30
30 "I and the Father are one."

JESUS IMITATES THE FATHER'S WORKS
John 5:19-21
19 Therefore Jesus answered and was saying to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing * of Himself, unless * it is something He sees the Father doing; for whatever * the Father does, these things the Son also does in like manner.
20 "For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself is doing; and the Father will show Him greater works than these, so that you will marvel.
21 "For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, even so the Son also gives life to whom He wishes.

JESUS SPEAKS THE FATHER'S WORDS
John 8:28
28 So Jesus said, "When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am He, and I do nothing on My own initiative, but I speak these things as the Father taught Me.

The difference between us is, Im honest, and dont insist of others what I am unable to do myself
1 John 5:3-4
3 For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments; and His commandments are not burdensome.

If we love God, we keep His commandments.
And His commandments are not burdensome.

How are you getting along obeying the law pertaining to the inner man, the law no one but you and God need know you break? Tenth commandment

I know, pass!!
But then, John didn't state you MUST obey the TC did he, he said believe in the name of God's son Jesus Christ and love one another

See what you wrote GH...it's actually correct.

You wrote:

The bible can state this because Yahweh and Yeshua are the same being.
They are both Yahweh.

We can trust the writers of the bible.
No need to wait to get to heaven.
No need to post doctrine that does not exist in the Christian religion/faith.

That's funny, the deceived trying to correct what God's Word teaches

what I am unable to do myself

Too bad you have never read Philippians 4:13

At that time Jesus, full of joy through the Holy Spirit, said, “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for this is what you were pleased to do. Luke10:21

Those following the false doctrines of OSAS don't have child like faith seeing they reject large portions of what God says in His Word.

How are you getting along obeying the law pertaining to the inner man, the law no one but you and God need know you break? Tenth commandment

I know, pass!!

Following OSAS is walking after doctrines of demons so you'd better check yourself before you wreck yourself.

If someone asked to lend from you would you gladly lend to them without ever expecting anything back?

If someone stole from you, would you offer them more than what they stole with nothing but love in your heart for them?

Do you not invite friends or family home for a meal, but rather the poor, blind, lame and beggars?

If you have ever fasted, have you even hinted to anyone you are fasting?

Do you truly in your heart love your enemies, those who may malign, harass or persecute you?

Do you leap for joy if you are persecuted?

Oh.

Do you believe a person could forfeit their salvation?
You shall not covet your neighbor’s house. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or his male or female servant, his ox or donkey, OR ANYTHING THAT BELONGS TO YOUR NEIGHBOUR.

So, as I told you yesterday, you cannot covet/desire anything of your neighbours, whether material goods or a member of their household, straight from the bible!

But we can go further than that:

for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.

8 But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead. Rom7:7&8

So the tenth commandment covers lust/concupiscence. What does concupiscence mean? Check it out in any dictionary, it means sexual desire.

So, lust, sexual desire/impure thoughts are all covered by the tenth commandment. This commandment covers what goes on, on the inside of man, his thoughts/desires/coveting, it concerns law only you and God need know you break. Other commandments relate to what goes on, on the outside of man, ie, adultery, murder, stealing etc.

BTW

The definition of a word such as concupiscence is not found reliable in commentaries, they are baised according to their particular belief, so they will try and makle a word or phrase fit in with that. Just as people on these websites do the same, through concordances and ancient texts(when the need arises)

Dictionaries are NOT baised, they give you the correct meaning!
