So you're a gambler and you engage in sinful behavior every day, got it.

Maybe someday you can grow up spiritually and get off milk and get on the meat of God's Word.

I can do all things thru Christ that strengthens me - Philippians 4:13

Through God's promises I partake of His divine nature - 2 Peter 1:4

Ephesians 4:24
And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

Romans 13:14
But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.

Hebrews 9:14
How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

Romans 6:4-6
Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
You will lose your credibility id you keep thiis up. As a minister of fifty years said, and I quote: ''Only on the internet do we find people claiming not to sin''

Yes I do.

Saying sorry for your folly isn’t biblical.

Confessing your sins, and being forgiven is.

Many Calvinist’s don’t confess there sins because they have been taught there is no need to, because all there future sins are already forgiven.
We have to be sorry for our sin in order to confess it.

Could you explain the difference?

Being sorry sounds worldly to me...
we might do something that costs us in some way and so we are sorry that we took some action or omitted an action.

Then there is remorse.
This is when we are regretful for a wrong-doing.

However, everyone uses the word sorry, even if incorrectly.

The example I gave you of sin is written in the TC

News Flash!

We live under the New Covenant now as Jesus took the old covenant away

Hebrews 10:9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.
(God said He would make a New Covenant - see Jeremiah 31:31-34)

Hebrews 8:6 But now hath Jesus obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also Jesus is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.

And with the changing of the priesthood, God’s Word tells us there is also a change of the law.

Hebrews 7:12 For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.

One cannot follow the law of Moses and be saved.

Sorry to pop your heretical balloon there bud.
Do you know in your mind God does not want you to steal, commit adultery, lie, take His name in vain?
I will write my laws in their minds
Would you say in your heart(the flesh is another matter) you do not want to those things?
And place them on their hearts

Do we then make void the law by faith? God forbid: Yea, we establish the law Rom3:31

You tell someone they MUST obey the TC, what impression will that give them? Heaven hinges on it. You MUST. There is no way a person will not then concentrate on that law, you will concentrate on what you believe your eternity hinges on
So what should we say?

"You could just obey God if you want to".

Is THAT what Jesus said?

He told the Apostles to go out and teach what HE taught.
Not whaty THEY thought He taught.

News flash, Jesus died for our sins/our transgressions of the law, he did not die to abolish what is holy, just and good(Rom7:12) that got placed in believers hearts and minds
Christ is the end of the law UNTO RIGHTEOUSNESS (not full stop), for everyone who believeth Rom10:4

Do you remember that story I told you of the businessman who was addicted to watching porn? He wouldnt have changed if he kept repeating I must obey the TC

@Big Boy Johnson

1 John 1:8-9
8 If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us.
9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

We all sin BB...
even you.

Charles Spuirgeon once said two ministers preached two different messages to their congregations. One preached on grace/righteousness apart from obeying the law, the other preached on stressing the holy life we should live. He said they both preached correct sermons, for they preached what their congregations needed to hear

why do you bother, he is toying with you just to make you mad...lol
I think he's very serious about what he believes.
I just don't understand that way of thinking about what Jesus taught.

And I had some fun back there too.

It might even be sinful !!
