Where did Jesus go for three days before His resurrection? We trust in Christ, NOW......while we are breathing, and God will give us "the Gift of Salvation".
Where did Jesus go for three days before His resurrection?
Who did He take with Him when He left? Its all the same place....
1.) "Paradise" ("Today you will be with me in Paradise") Jesus told the dying Thief
Where is this, as this is not Heaven.
A.) "Abrahams's Bosom"
3.) Luke 16:22
4.) 1 Peter 3:19
Who did He take with Him when He left?
The point is that Christ rescued those in the realm of the dead.Read the verses i posted for you, that explains it, instead of asking me the same questions.
See, i can teach you but i can't learn it for you..... you have to put in some effort @St. SteVen
Jesus was in the grave for 3 days.Where did Jesus go for three days before His resurrection?
The proper interpretation is that the Lord did indeed preach to those sinners before the flood who are now dead, but He did so when they were alive and had the ability to hear with their ears and repent. And the Lord accomplished that through His prophet, Noah, a "preacher of righteousness" , but we all know how many listened. The point is that Christ rescued those in the realm of the dead.
If He did it once, He can do it again.
I would agree if you meant the Grave. (capital G)Jesus was in the grave for 3 days.
I see that differently.
And He was dead. Until the resurrection. Death does not mean alive elsewhere.I would agree if you meant the Grave. (capital G)
The Grave = Sheol/Hades/the realm of the dead
Jesus was laid in an above ground tomb.
He said he would be three days in "the heart of the earth".
Where is that? (the realm of the dead)
Matthew 12:40 NIV
For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of a huge fish,
so the Son of Man will be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
I don't agree with that. And He was dead. Until the resurrection. Death does not mean alive elsewhere.
There is always hope for the living for if one repents and turns to CHRIST they shall be forgiven .It certainly may, but there may be hope for him.
Let us lengthen the first sentence to say The gospel of JESUS CHRIST which ALL apostels the twelve and later paul preachedPaul's Gospel is very simple.
We trust in Christ, NOW......while we are breathing, and God will give us "the Gift of Salvation".
So, your false Gospel, does not teach this as the only way to Heaven, so, you are described as "cursed" by Paul.
The NT pronounces this about you, and because you have even less regard for the bible then you have for God, you feel safe.
Galatians 1:8
Thats on you, and no forum Mod can help you with it.
I found myself in a bit of a minor frustration.
My reaction was to raise a fist and blame God. All in jest of course.
I believe that God has a sense of humor and can stand a bit of honest frustration.
If we believe God is sovereign, then he is ultimately responsible for this mess we are in.
And I believe he has a plan in place to make everything right again. The age of restoration.

Agreed. Can't ignore our part in this mess either. And sins tend to have unexpected ramifications.
A&E had no intention of disobeying. They had to be deceived.Should we blame God because he gave a command that was ignored?
Something similar happened to the prophet who turned back and ate in Bethel against the Lord's command in 1 Kings 13. Except the old prophet did not decieve him with malicious intent. Nevertheless the young prophet died, the Lord sent a lion to kill him.A&E had no intention of disobeying. They had to be deceived.
GOD himself testified ON THE SON . HEAR HIM , OBEY HIM .Can't ignore our part in this mess either. And sins tend to have unexpected ramifications.
Should we blame God because he gave a command that was ignored? Is it God's responsibility to provide each of us with the pros and cons for obedience?
WHEN GOD says something HE never later contradicts himself .Something similar happened to the prophet who turned back and ate in Bethel against the Lord's command in 1 Kings 13. Except the old prophet did not decieve him with malicious intent. Nevertheless the young prophet died, the Lord sent a lion to kill him.
Yes some of us really do read our bibles my friend . And this i say not to boast in me or in them .Something similar happened to the prophet who turned back and ate in Bethel against the Lord's command in 1 Kings 13. Except the old prophet did not decieve him with malicious intent. Nevertheless the young prophet died, the Lord sent a lion to kill him.

Galatians 1:8–9. “But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed.Something similar happened to the prophet who turned back and ate in Bethel against the Lord's command in 1 Kings 13. Except the old prophet did not decieve him with malicious intent. Nevertheless the young prophet died, the Lord sent a lion to kill him.
