Yup. Electing Trump was our collective effort to restore moral strength, starting with embracing the benefits of nationalism. Our elected representatives should act in our best interests, not other people's interests. It's time to stop feeling guilty for American exceptionalism.
I find it funny that no matter what the thread, enemies of America inevitably resort to Ad Hominem. Trump is great by any measure and his supporters don't care about the distraction of his personal failings. We hired him to do what he's doing and he doing a great job! Couldn't be prouder of my President.

Do you even believe in democracy, morality and right and wrong, yet? That the desires of other countries or even different political opinions inside the USA also matter?
Remember that you present yourself as a Christian, online. "We want it, so we will take it" is neither Christian nor democratic.
@Scott Downey imagine a Chinese or a Russian who heard about Christ and come here and read what you, who label yourself a Christian, are posting here - propagating imperialism ("our hemisphere"), "Rare earths, minerals, and oil", threats to other democratic countries and trampling of treaties and international laws.

You contradict yourself. Trump is democracy in action.
Differing opinions matter in deciding but once decided, say by the 2024 election, they serve the forces of disunity by carrying on. They lost. It's time for those with differing opinions to stand for democracy by supporting the will of the people - as expressed by the election, even when you don't share it. Otherwise, it is civil war.
Christ is our model. He is a king. It's his way or the highway. Only a fool would defer to the minority in pursuing a political course of action to bring maximum peace and justice.

IF Trump were truly acting like a dictator, he'd summarily disregard the opinions of inferior, black robed, tyrannical district court judges. (I personally think he should anyway. Other President's have including Lincoln and Biden. These activist judges deserve to be ignored.)

“The Danes don’t see us as humans,” Petersen said at a local Inuit restaurant overlooking Nuuk’s famous fjords. “They think we’re too expensive, too small a population. But they take our land, our children, our lives and expect thanks.”
Even in adulthood, medical decisions were made without Petersen’s consent. Plagued with problems after the IUD, she had repeated surgeries for unexplained pain. It wasn’t until years later that doctors informed her that her fallopian tubes had been removed in one of the operations in the early 2000s.
Her family also suffered under Denmark’s so-called “Little Danes experiment,” in which Greenlandic children were forcibly sent to Denmark for adoption or institutional care — often permanently separated from their families, she said.
The program, which ran from the 1950s through the 1970s, was part of Denmark’s broader effort to assimilate Greenlandic children, often without parental consent.

Denmark has long cultivated an image as a benevolent coloniser. But a handful of recent revelations have irrevocably shattered that flattering portrait. One particularly harrowing chapter in Denmark and Greenland’s joint history came to light in the late 2010s, when Greenlandic women who had been forcibly fitted with the contraceptive coil by Danish doctors started to speak out about their ordeal.
In the Sixties and Seventies, thousands of Greenlandic women and girls, some as young as 12, were fitted with intrauterine devices (IUDs), without their knowledge or consent. The policy was an attempt to slow down population growth in Greenland (which at the time had one of the highest birth rates in the world) and therefore lessen the potential financial burden on Denmark; it’s thought to have impacted around half of the island’s women of childbearing age between 1966 and 1970.
Many were left traumatised, and others suffered pain, bleeding, infection and lasting health complications; some struggled to conceive later in life, not realising that they had been fitted with the coil. “I could clearly see that the [IUD] tools looked much too big for my little girl’s body, but at the time I didn’t realise they were for adult women,” Naja Lyberth, who was fitted with the coil at the age of 14 and later became the first woman to come forward, has said. “It was like torture, like a rape.”

Yes, I fully endorse this Scripture and we are to be subject to good and bad rulers. God is in control, as he was with Assyria and Babylon and later the Romans. Perhaps I do not need to acknowledge Trump as I live in Australia, but I am aware of the effect of his tariffs on some segments of our economy which may not be as severe on Australia as other countries, especially now the threat on some European countries if Trump does not get his dictatorial way (perhaps another word would be more appropriate) with Greenland. Do you think JD Vance would be more popular with the Greenlanders than his first attempted visit if he visits Greenland as the Vice President of Greenland. Would his dog-sled visit and tour of the various towns be welcomed?

Trump has had a unique, almost uncanny, vision all his life about current events and business. That is why he became rich. Notice he does not need advisors like other leaders. He sees ahead what will be and has proven many, many wrong. It seems he is being directed by God to carry out end times prophesy. We know there will be a leader that will form a one world gov't one day soon. Most likely the next leader to weld the power of the USA military. Watch for a leader out left field, one that you would not guess, come into power. It may be Vance or most likely someone else to pull all parties together a make peace after turbulent times with other countries under Trump. Everyone will say peace, peace, but then the end will come. Keep your faith in Christ and not world events as Satan is the ruler of the power of the air and when you watch TV remember that. This is an interesting perspective on end times, but I have an almost completely different perspective based on a wide range of Scripture. I am willing to wait and see as to what extent Trump and his good or bad policies on the world scene expedite end time events, especially those relating to the Middle East and Israel which I consider to be mentioned in many OT prophecies.

I would say the argument "this is a current events forum" is dumb, rather. Your posts are obviously pushing for the action and defending it with unChristian reasoning.
Democracy is not "once decided, the person who won is unlimited". Plurality, the protection of other opinions and the rule of law, the justice system, constitution, ethics, morality, right or wrong, accountability, checks and balances, civilized behavior, respect to others, honoring alliances and treaties... are still in place.
Democracy is much more than just free elections.
