Peter preached the crucifixion as Israel killing their Messiah, he was condemning them
I agree. Pilate attempted to give Jesus a way of escape from crucifixion. The people though, very likely under pressure by the authorities of their temple, called for Barabbas to be freed instead.

Pilate found no fault in Jesus and washed his hands of the affair.

The Pharisees and Saducees were directly responsible for the murder of Jesus. Even going so far as to seemingly suspect as much as they invoked a curse upon themselves and future generations if they were wrong.

However,I think we have to remember Satan possessing Judas, and those temple authorities, were all part of God's intention to fulfill the Messianic prophecy.

YOu need to reread Acts again. You have read it wrong! It was the Pharisees who had Jesus brought before Pilate, but even the church in the Nicene Creed recognized Pilate was the main culprit. Though god the Father ordered Jesus' death.
Peter blamed Israel for the crucifixion.....................
[Acts 2:22 KJV] "Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:"
[Acts 2:23 KJV] "Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:"

Google is your friend! Isaiah prophesied the crucifixion of Jesus for sin. Peter was reminding them. Learn how Jews quoted SCripture in four different ways or methods!
I assume you mean this verse............[1 Peter 2:24 KJV] "Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed."..........................here he is indeed speaking from Isiah..................
[Isaiah 53:5 KJV] "But he [was] wounded for our transgressions, [he was] bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace [was] upon him; and with his stripes we are healed."
[Isaiah 53:8 KJV] "He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken."
[Isaiah 53:10 KJV] "Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put [him] to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see [his] seed, he shall prolong [his] days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand."..........................He didnt preach this in Acts, however in quoting Isiah 53 he was only preaching that Christ's crucifixion was only for "THE TRANSGRESSIONS OF MY PEOPLE" which is Israel

Wow did you miss a lot in this verse you wrongoly use as a defense for saying all I srael crucified jesus!

1. It was done by the counsel and foreknowledge of God (pro-gnosis= preplanning)
2. The leaders of Israel delivered him to Pilate.
3. Pilate being the wicked hands- crucified HIm.

The fact that tens of thousands of Israelis became followers of Jesus (Christians) is prrof positive all of Israel did not seek to kill Jesus.

Peter preached teh cross and resurrection to Israel. They were not some separate church or body, but as Paul declared in ephesians 2- they are part of the one body of Jesus.

I was saying Peter didnt preach the crucifixion for sins to Israel anywhere in Acts as you said
He condemned Israel for it
It wasnt til 1 Peter that he applied Isiah to Christ's death for Israel's sins only

Peter didnt preach the cross to Israel in Acts
In 1 Peter he preached the cross for Israel but this was to believing Israel who were scattered

Peter preached the resurrection in Act 2 not for our justification as Paul does. Peter preached Christ rose to sit on David'd throne in the earthly kingdom

[1 Timothy 2:12 KJV] "But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence."
Paul isnt speaking his opinion here. He is communicating what Christ conveyed to him but he isnt saying its a command

Translations omit more then these verses
Doug, I see that you have not been trained in Textual Criticism. All your concerns and questions about the KJV can be answered with a little hard work. The KJV adds to and subtracts from the Greek Text. This is done in the OT and NT. To say that Modern text should be faulted means you have to also criticize the KJV Greek Text for adding to the "Bible." Were you not aware that the KJV adds and subtracts from the text?
