Yes its a very powerful message. I think its the only message that will work today. Considering that we have all this white noise of culture wars. People shaming and blaming each other, making two wrongs a right, looking to fight back and not turn the other cheek in pride. Looking to belittle the other to discredit, ect.

But a Christlike community that could not be charge with any of these things would be greatly respected and looked upon. Though the evil ones will hate it even more. But at least to the fair and honest they will be above reproach.

So perhaps if we start with leaders who are above reproach like Paul mentions.

Yes and it's Christ who gave Paul Acts 9:15 the unique role Rom 11:13, Rom 15:16 to teach that & Salvation to Gal 3:28 believers today

Paul qualifies the Elders of the church to be above reproach. This is the foundation. Begin with leaders who are above reproach and then the church becomes above reproach. Or at least very close. There will be nothing that the world can accuse them of that undermines the gospel they preach.

Just like Christ and the disciples and early church. No charge could be brought against them for hypocracy or evil or bad fruits. Or engaged in the same political games as the world. Only that they defied the pagan ideologies.

1 Cor 9:27 - Paul himself was concerned at being disqualified from a teaching role but not loss of salvation.
