Honestly, America has always had good First Ladies with the exception in my lifetime of Hillary, who got into politics, attempting to force government run healthcare down our throat. From Lady Bird, Pat Nixon, Ford, Roselyn, Nancy (Just say no), Barbara and Laura Bush, even Big Mike, they've all been admirable in their role. Effective diplomacy.
