I used to live near a suburb full of Muslim immigrants. The KFC there stopped putting bacon on the burgers that supposed to have bacon. There was outrage and eventually they went back to using bacon again

In Islam Halal dietary practices are like the Kosher rules in Judaism.

While Sikhs are forbidden from following the Halal code.

So,the Muslims there who would know this about Sikhs, are making a scene over an ages long conflict of tradition.
