DO YOU THINK OUR FAITH IS THE GIFT OF GOD?

[Ephesians 2:8 KJV] "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God:" ********** If you are one of those who say that our faith is the gift of God, I have a question. ************ [1 Timothy 2:4 KJV] "Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth." ********** God wants all to be saved, right?
My question is why doesn't God give EVERYBODY THE GIFT OF SAVING FAITH?

For the same reason John the Baptist came first preaching repentance. Acts 2:38 and 1 John 1:9 are both how to become a Christian, even though Jesus is the Author and Finisher of our FAITH.

9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

38 Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

[Acts 2:38 KJV] "Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." *********** You are saying that we are saved by being water baptism instead of faith in his blood redemption.

[1 John 1:9 KJV] "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." ************* John was not writing to the body of Christ. This verse was for Israel to confess their national sin

So a Gentile doesn't need to receive the Holy Spirit? Do you believe in predestination and those Gentiles that are to be saved just receive salvation as a gift, and those who aren't are damned to hell? Is water baptism only for the Jews?
