The LORD GOD revealed to Daniel the meaning of Nebuchadnezzar's dream, and each piece of the beast statue, per Daniel 2. And like God said in Isaiah 42:9 that He tells His people of new things He does, He also revealed in that Daniel 2 dream about the FINAL beast kingdom on earth that will be manifest when Lord Jesus Christ returns on the "day of the Lord." And it's really easy to grasp too.

Dan 2:34-35
34 Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces.

The feet of the beast statue represents a separate beast kingdom empire. Most try to associate it with the beast "legs of iron" piece that was the old Roman empire, which no longer exists. That is not... so because of what is revealed in these Daniel 2:34-35 verses.

The above "a stone was cut out without hands" is a symbol for Christ Jesus. He is The Corner Stone which the builders rejected. That verse reveals Jesus when He returns will smite that beast statue upon its feet that will be made of clay and iron.

35 Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.
KJV

Count the number of pieces described in the above. There is FIVE, not four.

Now Here Is The Million Dollar Question:

WHEN... are those FIVE pieces broken by that Stone (Christ) smiting the FEET of iron and clay??

Revelation 18:21 And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.

I can picture it happening here, then the millennium soon following. IOW, it is during the millennium when the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth. After all, the way the text reads to me, the stone that smote the image can't become a great mountain and fill the whole earth, until AFTER the image is smitten first. And clearly, we are in the end of this age when Daniel 2:35 is meaning.

WHEN... are those FIVE pieces broken by that Stone (Christ) smiting the FEET of iron and clay??
Great question! There are 4 and only 4 metal kingdoms that God would reveal in His plan of restoration and salvation for His people and His city (and of course, since they rejected and crucified Him, He designed His plan to be more than just the restoration of His people and city back to Jerusalem after their exile.)

So there are 4 metals only but God would purposely place a non-metallic element at the end of the 4th kingdom of iron. This was not a new or 5th kingdom - again, only 4 metals. But this clay element represents His people, the Jews, who would be held captive within the iron kingdom of pagan Rome. And the timing is very important because they are shown to exist when the Messiah would arrive in the first century.

Consequently, 2:34 represents the first coming of the Messiah when He would strike the FEET ONLY for the purposes of SEPARATING (not destroying) the two incompatible elements. It was the Jews who were expected their Messiah to come as a conquering king and destroy the an oppressive Romans and place Israel back on the top of all nations.

But Jesus did not come to destroy but to “divide.” And that is exactly what He did. Symbolically, He separated those of His people that would be described as “pottery clay” in verses 2:41-44), from those that would reject Him - identified as “ceramic or miry clay.” They would hardened their hearts against their Messiah and would not accept Him. Again, in 34 it is only the iron and clay that are being separated.

As a direct result of the “first strike.” Now God reveals there are 5 separate elements- still only 4 metal kingdoms but 35 tells us that at the end of time- when He returns, He will not only destroy the “kingdoms” of the world but also the people within those kingdoms- the clay.

So his first strike when the Messiah arrives and goes to the cross, He will set up or establish His earthly kingdom (that will never be destroyed). Those of His people (pottery clay), will go out into the Roman Empire and begin His church. Jesus is the Potter and His people are the pottery clay.

When we move to the latter verses in chapter 2, Gabriel discusses the “post cross” happenings. In 44 He then speaks of truly consuming all the kingdoms- end times. But now in 45 He tells us the 4 kingdoms will be consumed. But here at the end of time He specifically places the clay, not simply adjacent to the iron as He did in verse 35 (where He “separated the TWO elements only, but in verse 45 He places the clay right in the middle of the 4 metal elements. Meaning, the clay is not just shown as being separated from the iron, it is now symbolically placed on the floor of the hardest two metals - the iron and the bronze. He is placing ALL THE CLAY( all Hew and Gentile that rejected Jesus since the cross). Symbolically, the grain was placed on stone or hard earth to sift out the chaff. Here, those who rejected Him will be placed on the harvest floor and thrown into the fire.

This is just a very rough way of providing the interpretations for chapter 2 — impossible to get a complete understanding of all of these chapter 2 verses.

Hello, my two cents worth on the kingdoms pointed to in the Daniel 2 Statue prophecy concerning the nations that will have dominion over the land of Babylon is King Neb's Babylon, the Medes and the Persians, and the Grecian empire, initially Alexandra the Great and after he died, the Seleucid Greek Empire. The Seleucid Empire devastated and desolated the Land of Babylon and this devastation and desolation lasted for two ages until 1926 AD when the British and the French established the nation of Iraq to hold dominion over the land of Babylon and then in 2003 the Coalition of the Willing, led by the USA invaded Iraq and established their dominion over Iraq and subsequently the Land of Babylon.

But who looks at the History of the Land of Babylon

Sadam did try to rebuild the city of Babylon in Iraq, but failed, for God had promised in Isaiah that the city of Babylon would never rise again.

The endtime Revelation Babylon Harlot instead will be a JERUSALEM in a fallen worship state once the false-Messiah arrives in Jerusalem playing Christ.

The Question again still is... WHEN... will the Daniel 2:34 "stone" (Christ) smite the final beast upon its feet of ten toes, and ALL... of the beast statue pieces come falling down 'together'.

The "stone" involves the One Who will setup an everlasting kingdom in the time of those ten kings...

Dan 2:44-45
44 And
in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.

45 Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.

In the Daniel 2:34 verse we are shown all FIVE pieces of the beast statue being 'together'... when the "stone" (Christ, the Stone the builders rejected) comes to smite that final beast system upon its feet of part clay and part iron.

That they are all 'together', points to a major revelation. It shows the final beast kingdom will cover the whole earth, and each of the past beast empires will play a role in it at the same time.

That is one way to interpret it to sure. But 2:34 is the cause that separates the iron and the clay. Prior to Jesus striking the feet (not the entire image), the clay was embedded within the iron. Could not be separated.

After a he Stone, He is now showing the 5 individual elements- meaning that when He returns He will not come to judge the institutions, the nations, the kingdoms but everything and everyone - regardless of who or what one belongs to. No one can claim salvation by belonging to a certain kingdom, religion, etc.

The other important issue is, and this is what lead me this interpretation, is there was no way I could interpret 2:41-45 and si many verses in 7,8, and 11. Nothing would come together unless 2:34 represents His first coming.

Verses 2:41-45 are impossible to unpack unless 2:34 separated the iron and the clay from each other.

If you will, try to unpack those extremely difficult verses. God is now revealing what happens AFTER the cross. Now, He starts talking about pottery clay, divided kingdom, He is now changing the order of iron and clay to clay and iron.

1) … whereas you saw…
2) … and as the 10 toes were…
3) … as you saw iron mixed with…
4) … and in the days of these kings…

All of these verses are revealing the changes to the 4th kingdom of pagan Rome (iron), the Jews (both the pottery and ceramic clay, His kingdom, etc., that will occur AFTER He symbolically strikes the feet and separates the iron and the clay elements ONLY.

Jesus did not come to destroy but to divide. And also, take a look at chapter 7. He starts off describing the things that take place AFTER the Cross l - now, the 10 toes are no longer WITHIN the captivity if the iron feet (Rome). Now, He shows them as “coming out” of the 4th kingdom.

Look at verse 7:7… now, the 4th kingdom is revealed quite differently. Now, the 10 hour end AND a little horn “come out” of the kingdom. Why? What has caused this to happen. God uses different symbols but He is still revealing the events / actors that take place AFTER the cross. He is the cause of these changes.

And all of this occurs at the time of the cross, not end time events. Again, this short set of verses in chapter 2 will set everything in motion.

So, the way to see these verses very differently is to try and interpret them as 2:34 is His first coming and how He is telling us what takes place after He returns to His Father (2:41-45). Verses 2:41-45 reveal what takes place from the “striking of the Stone (His first coming) and His return in 2:45.

I can also tell you that unless you focus on these 4 verses 2:41-44 and interpret them Daniel is impossible to interpret.

With the only exception being ALL of chapter 11, these 4 verses are the most difficult to unpack. Don’t trust what I am saying, try to understand these verses yourself.

The stone that comes down from heaven and strikes the feet of the statue will happen in the days of those kings and from my understanding the stone will come down in a little over 20 years' time and will continue to strike the statue nations for a further 1,000 years.

The 'when' is about the day of Christ's future coming...

Rev 11:14-15
14 The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly.
15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying,
"The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of His Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever."

In around 20 years' time, God will begin establishing His Ever-Lasting Kingdom which will expand over the next 1,000 years, until the Bottomless Pit is unlocked and Satan, the judged heavenly hosts and the judged kings of the earth are released for the Little While period which ends with their final judgement and punishment in the Lake of Fire.

But that hasn`t happened yet. Babylon the city, is being rebuilt.

The Future Babylon Project.

Following the 2003 invasion of Iraq, the area around Babylon came under the control of US forces. Much damage was done by military vehicles; however, the US are now working with Iraq leaders to restore Babylon.

This project is called the Future Babylon project. (2009)

Those involved will involve the local community and work to create a sustainable situation. Jeff Allen of the US side said, “The idea is to develop something that is going to be here 30 – 40 years from now and has benefits for the local people. We don`t want something that will only benefit outsiders.”

“If you have 200, 000 people a year coming to this site, you will have people staying at hotels, visiting restaurants, buying souvenirs,”
Allen said. “The site is in some ways a revenue generator for the local community.”

The State Board of Antiquities and Heritage (SBAH) is the main authority responsible for the conservation of the archeological site. They are assisted by Antiquity and Heritage Police and maintain a permanent presence there.

The World Monuments Fund is also involved in research and conservation. The SBAH Provincial Inspectorate headquarters is located within the boundaries of the ancient inner-city walls on the east side and several staff members and their families reside in subsidized housing in this area.

The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization is spending millions of dollars into protecting and restoring – Babylon and some other ancient ruins. UNESCO has printed up a well-produced brochure, with Babylon listed as the premier destination, to hand out to wealthy donors.

The Babylon project is Iraq`s biggest and most ambitious by far, reflection of the ancient city`s fame and its resonance in Iraq`s modern political and cultural heritage.

My understanding of Scripture that is relevant to the Land of Babylon in this case is provided below: -

1777520493864.png

Davy, perhaps you need to review your understanding on the period of the land of Babylon being devasted and desolated for a period of two ages as foretold to us in the scriptures and that it was remembered before God in the year 1926 AD through an instrument created by Brittian and France when these two nations divided up the Otterman Empire after WW1.

I strongly suggest that the historical accounts support the above understanding of Isaiah, Jeremiah and Revelation.

Perhaps thare is a need for you to go back and review what you believe is true with respect to these three scripture passages.

Just as Saddam Husein tried to rebuild the geographic city of Babylon and failed, God is not going to allow it to rise again. The fact that the New World Order hosts are trying... to rebuild it, simply means we are that much closer to Christ's future coming to destroy it. The New World Order hosts tried to place a fake mimic of the solid gold Great Pyramid capstone on the Pyramid during their Year 2000 celebration on the Giza plateau, but that didn't pan out either. They built a metal pyramid skeleton structure, attached metal sheet covers to it, and the rich one-worlders donated gold to emboss over it.

All I can do is refer you to what God said about Babylon not rising again, meaning geographical Babylon.

Jer 51:58-64

58 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; The broad walls of Babylon shall be utterly broken, and her high gates shall be burned with fire; and the people shall labour in vain, and the folk in the fire, and they shall be weary.

59 The word which Jeremiah the prophet commanded Seraiah the son of Neriah, the son of Maaseiah, when he went with Zedekiah the king of Judah into Babylon in the fourth year of his reign. And this Seraiah was a quiet prince.

60 So Jeremiah wrote in a book all the evil that should come upon Babylon, even all these words that are written against Babylon.

61 And Jeremiah said to Seraiah, When thou comest to Babylon, and shalt see, and shalt read all these words;

62 Then shalt thou say, O LORD, thou hast spoken against this place, to cut it off, that none shall remain in it, neither man nor beast, but that it shall be desolate for ever.

63 And it shall be, when thou hast made an end of reading this book, that thou shalt bind a stone to it, and cast it into the midst of Euphrates:

64 And thou shalt say, Thus shall Babylon sink, and shall not rise from the evil that I will bring upon her: and they shall be weary. Thus far are the words of Jeremiah.
