(Worthy Satire) – In a shocking new study that no one asked for, researchers found that conservatives report higher levels of happiness than liberals across every measurable category — including work, family, relationships, pets, hobbies, weather, and even the taste of oatmeal.

The groundbreaking findings triggered immediate outrage on social media, with liberals demanding a retraction and accusing the researchers of “happiness shaming.”

“This study is oppressive,” tweeted one activist. “I’d be WAY happier if I wasn’t constantly being told that I’m supposed to be happy! Let me be miserable in peace!”

Sources say liberal respondents proposed several conditions under which they might feel joy, including: abolishing capitalism, outlawing offensive speech, and ensuring nobody anywhere enjoys life more than they do.

Meanwhile, conservatives celebrated the results with backyard barbecues, family game nights, and another round of not caring what Twitter thinks.

In reality, the differences are fairly small, although statistically significant. But correlation isn't necessarily causation. It could be that these different things don't actually cause people to be smarter or more liberal. They could both be caused by some other factor.

Her Leftist, Pagan mother has influenced her and I want her to know in her formative years that she has a basic choice:

A. Embrace wokeism and be miserable.​

B. Reject wokeism and be happy.​

Although I did not go into the why, it is simple. People on the Left reject God. Government is their IDOL and it always fails them on some level. Even if they realize their socialist utopia dreams, they will still be miserable because they have repeated the Original Sin, sought to displace God with themselves. A human cannot fill their God shaped hole in their heart.

I think fundementally it comes down to a worldview about how life and reality is ordered. But under that its a spiritual belief about whether there is a God of this world.

Because to my mind if Christ is the way, truth and life then any alternative will not be as abundent and a full life. I know thats assuming that God is real but I think ultimately this is what it comes down to.

Because I think it is inherent in liberalism and progressive ideas that you cannot have one truth and that means no truth. You can't insist on biblical truths because its oppressive. Because the idea is to be liberal and progressive and change and be inclusive.

In some ways a worldly attempt to copy Christs inclusiveness but without upholding Christ as the only truth.

Thats not saying that conservatives may not be Christians or be false Christians. But the fundemental basis of conservatism aligns better with Christianity I think.

It seems perhaps by design that much of conservative and Christian beliefs align with good ways of living. Even if thats just being prudent and respecting tradition as something worth upholding because its proven to work through time. As opposed to changing things for the sake of progression and being different.

@Aunty Jane would like you referring to Jesus' God as the God of this world. Having said that, as believers, we are content to limit our focus to whatever is good and thank God for it.

Rush Limbaugh observed in the 20th century that joy is a big advantage to being Conservative. As a Liberal, they focus only on whatever is bad and rail against it. Somewhere in the world, something is not as good as it could be, so they are forever miserable. Their ego doesn't allow them to test the badness of their world view.

I have been thinking about how the world and Christ reflect different outcomes from morality to a good and happy life. If Christ is the way, truth and life and offers life in its abudence.

Then rejecting Christ (antiChrist) should in the end produce the opposite. People can get away with false ideas and realities. But eventually they will be exposed and come undone as they will not work and bring what has been promised.

We have seen secular ideas about what makes people happy in the world. Basically anything Godly is oppressive. But enough time has gone by to see how these ideas have worked out and they have failed.

We are seeing mass misery and mental illness. A lack of moral grounding and false claims and promises. A denial of the truth that these ideas are fools gold. But also a doubling down because it means acknowledging God as Lord of all. The primary objection of the worlds ideology is bowing to God or anyone. The self is god.

In some ways its like suicidal or toxic empathy in that some would rather stick with the misery and chaos than bow down to God.
