YouTuber Nick Shirley slams California bill, claims it would stop videos exposing fraud

California Democrats are trying to pass an act that would criminalize independent journalism.
If found guilty of independent fraud investigation, the journalist could be fined $10,000,
a misdemeanor, jail time and be asked to remove the media from all social media sites.
We are living in a weird world where Fraud is ok, accountability is not.

Clearly unconstitutional.

The people should be able to sue the legislature and executive for violating rights. And any sovereign immunity should not apply, for beurocracts who have taken an oath of office to uphold the constitution.

I'm in California...leave it to the Democrats to want to stop people from exposing fraud.

Recently Cam Higby went to Skid Row in downtown Los Angeles. He took video of people paying the homeless to sign political petitions to get things on the ballot. That's illegal.

He also interviewed some homeless and they told him about getting paid and where you go to sign the petitions.

Nick Shirley confronts the authors and co-authors of the Bill. Some of them don't know what the Bill is, some won't comment and some run away.

Towards the end of the video, a senator says the CA AG didn't want to criminalize sex traffickers of minors (so it would count as a third strike). But instead they want to criminalize Nick Shirley and others for reporting on fraud.

Wow and they took all of his equipment too except for the phone and that little mic.

Some years ago I saw a travel video on Cuba. Maybe the guy got permission because he said it was a travel TV show.

Anyhow he went into this old, crumbling, derelict apartment building. When you went into the bathroom, by the toilet a lot of the floor was missing. You could see down to the ground levels. If you went potty there it would fall all the way down. If I recall right I think people were still living there.
