A wife starts as a Bride decorated and adorned with a beautiful dress and jewels. But we can surpass that beauty easily in time if we follow God's Word and live our lives the way He directs.

This thread is a dedication and thank you to all the Godly wife mentors who have helped me to mature. It is also an invitation for young wives to walk in unfading beauty too.

Wives are only to be submissive , but only if what their husbands say DOES NOT contradict GOD .
Wanna hear a s tory . There once lived a wife of nabal , a very wicked man of belial .

There is nothing worse than a beautiful lady with a nasty disposition. Earring in the snout,..
Or a nagging, demanding, critical wife..
We are companions not bosses.
We can be beautiful inside by the Spirit of God in us- and there is nothing wrong with taking care of yourself either.
Just keep it simple.
Ever see the ladies with 10 gold rings and those really long fake nails that look like deadly weapons? Yeah- not that!

Happy Mother's Day
My favorite advice for this day is to be mindful to still go about your duties with a good attitude.

There's something about holidays that tempts women especially out of a servant-hearted mindset only to be set up for disappointment when there are still ordinary tasks to do.

We don't have to be ruled by our emotions. The Spirit of Truth is our guide, giving us fearlessness, peace, and self-control.

We can forgo complaining and give thanks at every opportunity. We can forgo worrying and send our prayers up to the Father instead.

We can turn ordinary tasks into heartfelt worship, working as to the Lord.

We can love our husbands physically, mentally, and spiritually. We can be a source of peace and encouragement when we dwell on the good in him. We can smile at them, share our bodies, and respect them.

I’ve come to realize young today women are never taught how to function properly in a healthy relationship with a man. Feminism has poisoned their mind to think in terms competing and as you wrote above, what she can extract akin to a parasite.

I believe relationships are like investments, the more you put it, the more you get out, with ever deepening richness, fondness and disovery of each other, what you have in common and differences. Just yesterday my wife asked me at a soap box derby to ge5 her lemonade. When I saw the menu, they had 8 types, including mango. Knowing that is her favorite, I took the liberty of getting it for her. The smile on her face was a great joy to me. It’s better to give than receive.

When husband and wife are in harmony, submission is not an issue. Man being the head over the wife is an idea that has been abused a lot. Flowing sweetly together to shared goals is better than power dynamics.

We have different "roles" and it just works best when we stay in our roles- God knows what He's doing. It's the best way for us. I think that's the heart of the issue. People think God is just bossing them around and want to rebel. That's because they don't know Him. His wisdom is priceless.
Pop Culture told women they were inferior to men if they didn't make a career and "be somebody"- They mocked the traditional role of women and the gullible believed it.. Godly men who love their wives are nothing to feel inferior of- we compliment one another.
There is nothing to be ashamed about to have children and raise them- it's the most natural thing in the world. Listening to the world destroys children & marriages.

But a woman can have a variety of roles. She may choose not to be a mother or wife. She may not be able to have children. So she may choose the role of doctor, lawyer, etc.

There is nothing shameful about being a mother or about being a childless female doctor.

Some women are not suited to be a mother, for physical, psychological, or financial reasons.

A childless, infertile woman is not inferior to a mother.

A childless woman is not inferior to a mother.

Whenever I read such egalitarian posts, it's obvious the poster has no sense of utility.

The ultimate moral standard is survival. Try this thought experiment. One half of the world is filled with exclusively with childless women (in addition to children and men) and the other half is filled with women who invariably become mothers. All other things are equal. Come back in a century. Which half is surviving better?
