I don't have an issue with a Pastor alone earning a fair wage for a fair days work - do not muzzle the ox !!

Matt 10:8-11 Freely give for freely it was given to you... sounds like instead of a job that paid so much a year you were to rely on God and the people you help to get your needs met.

Did peter or john or paul or Jesus get paid?
Or apollos or anyone else?

Acts 3:6 john who was with peter when Peter said: silver and gold I have none but what I have I give to you.


And ofcourse their are some millionaire pastors out there and my reply would be,

Is it the job of a pastor to become wealthy off the sheep...
