Grace thru faith and you are saved has no works..... but then as soon as you are saved you start a life or walk with God and start doing works or Gods will.... and if you dont do or have works YOUR FAITH BECOMES DEAD..... it took a LIVE FAITH to save you but that live faith WITHOUT WORKS IS DEAD

how is it you dont understand OH VAIN MAN FAITH WITHOUT WORKS IS DEAD

VERY true it is that faith without works is dead .
But very true it also is that all them so called lovey thy neighbor , feed the poor
IS TOTALLY IN VAIN if one follows a false religoin and hopes in that other god .
Faith without works IS DEAD
and all the lovey do works without FAITH IN CHRIST , IS A LIE sold to us by a well favored
ecumeincal harlot who has bodly stated
that ALL religoins are serving the same GOD in diverse ways .
And that all we need do is love thine neighbor .
ANY LOVE that denies JESUS IS THE CHRIST and that one must BELEIVE ON HIM
IS NOT the LOVE OF GOD but of the world and by the dragon and his co workers .
HERE IS THE LOVE OF GOD
that We KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS
And here are HIS commandments , TO BELEIVE ON JESUS THE CHRIST and to love one another .
ANY who omits the BELIEVE YE ON JESUS part , SPEAKS ONLY A LIE
and has not or knows not THE LOVE OF GOD .

A human spirit not born of God, wasn't available for anybody in 'the context' of your John 8:31-41 quoted verse. Spirit isn't even mentioned in the whole chapter.

Jesus wasn't addressing who the father of their spirit was, based upon being a JEW. He was addressing as to their being Jewish believing disciples because they 'continued in His word'. But these Pharisees were manifesting the works of whoever the father of their works or "deeds" was.

JOH 8:34* Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.
If you or I sin we are "servants" whoever fathered that SOULISH decision. Our soul determines if we are going to walk in sin or righteousness.

Joh 8:41 Ye do the DEEDS of your father.

The above verse includes believers today, doesn't it? If we commit a sinful deed, the father of that sin is Satan or the devil. It is not our spirit.

I know Mormons and JW's who have given me a testimony and manifest lifestyles surpassing that of Catholics, Lutherans etc. etc. And my opinion of them, is the same for those in the church who don't believe in the third baptism FROM the Holy Spirit of God. You may be saved but you still have a lot of bad doctrine. 40,000 "christian" denominations are all the evidence I need.

I see that "broad path" every day on mainstreet. The Methodist church in out town has split on the issue of homosexuality. And the Episcopal church is blatantly waving the alphabet flag with all its colors glorifying the sin of homosexuality, in front of their church on main street.
