We have dishes of water inside and outside the yard (1 acre surrounded by desert). Yes, we draw many fauna. As in the published video, the water needs to be shallow to avoid drowning quail chicks. Within the yard, we are visited by birds (see photo of hawk), rabbits, lizards, snakes. Outside: javelinas, coyotes, ground squirrels.
