IN fact IT IS our anaylical always THINKING minds that will and do steal our peace .
FOR the love of GOD and all that is HOLY
we must now return to the simple reading of the bible f or ourselves .
OUR flesh is contrary , AND we darn sure do not want to worry and entertain it .

No, Paul learned how to receive deliverance from the Lord and got rid of the thorn which was a messenger sent by satan to attempt to stop Paul from being effective in ministry. God did not call Paul to go out and minister the Gospel and then turn around and sick the devil on Paul as carnal minded religious tradition has taught that they got from the devil.

The Bible consistently shows that knowing God isn’t just about information, it’s about relationship, the same God who exists outside time chose to step into history to reveal himself, not because he needed us, but because we need him. Once we begin to understand God’s nature, an eternal God invites trust, a self-existing God offers stability, a sustaining God gives purpose, your life gets anchored. Storms still come, but they no longer define you, because if God is uncreated, eternal and self-existing, then reality itself has purpose, truth isn’t something you invent, it’s something you discover. Life isn’t a random accident, it’s a gift with intention behind it, Revelation 1:8, God Stands at the beginning and the end of everything, history isn’t moving in circles, it’s moving towards something and your life is part of that story.

The cross does not just cancel sin, it confronts it and the spirit doesn’t just live in you quietly, the spirit takes over. The fruit of the spirit, not the personality of a good Christian, but the fruit of the spirit, this list is not optional, it is not advanced level discipleship, it is the evidence that you belong to Jesus. Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control, these are not feelings, these are not moods, these are not things you do on Sundays and forget by Monday, these are not things you try harder to act like, they are the natural outgrowth, if the spirit lives in you. This is what grows, that’s why Paul doesn’t say fruits plural, he says fruit singular, because it’s one vine, you don’t get to choose which ones you like and ignore the rest, they will grow together.

OK so what scriptures say God turns people in to robots where He literally takes over people's lives and they no longer think for themselves or have free will

Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

Notice this passage is clearly saying “to whom YOU obey” indicating very clearly that we are the ones deciding to either walk in sin and be separated from the Lord, or to walk in obedience to the Lord and remain in right standing with the Lord.

This is very simple, straight forward, and easy to understand and yet they refuse to accept the plain reading of scripture

I'm not really sure where to post this topic, but since I frequent this the most I chose here. I have posted before on my brain wiring...struggling with ocd, anxiety, etc and in turn making "certainty", "knowing", impossible for me( I do realize many say certainty shouldn't be looked for that's where faith comes in )I have never done any drugs or drinking etc so this perspective is not created but just simply how I'm wired. For the most part I like the meloncholy deep thinking creative analytical personality I have however it is very difficult in my walk with the Lord. I crave the assurance that so many seem to have but I just seems impossible for me to attain it. I just crave that "knowing" and "assurance " so many seem to have. I am curious if you think this is the thorn in the side that Paul talked about that will help make my testimony?

I know some of my posts seem like a broken record but that is just showing genuinely how I am I suppose. I always say I hope the Lord takes my strong "hope" as faith.

Getting to the place in your faith where you realize that.... "if God accepted me and saved me Through the Cross of Christ, while i was yet a sinner, and that was before i tried to be good and do right, then ................"

"When God saved me, He already knew all about every carnal deed and thought that i would produce AFTER i was saved, and yet God saved me anyway KNOWING all this about me"........

A Christian has to come to understand those, so that they can stop trying to earn something that cant be earned and keep something that can't be kept. = God's GRACE and Eternal Salvation.

Its God who Keeps US, because its God who saves us.
Its God who will never let us go.
Its Christ's Blood that has made sure of our Eternal Salvation.

So, once we are SUSTAINED by God's Grace as our Real Faith, once we stop trying to do Salvation, and instead REST inside it by Real Faith....... then we at that moment finally stop trying to serve God for the wrong reasons, and everything changes about out walk of faith.

Romans 10:9, covenant requires verbal declaration, salvation isn’t just an internal decision, it’s a spoken agreement, a covenant sealed by speech. The greatest covenant of your life, your salvation, it required your mouth, then every covenant after that requires your mouth too. Sadly she can speak for ten minutes and not really get anything said . And she actually has followers .
