While I was born in Boston, I identify with the South. My daughter was born in Houston, where I lived and loved it.

And people whose ancestors were from Cornwall, the county in the extreme South West of England, are descendants of Celts, like the Welsh, Irish and Scottish people. Needless to say, over the centuries, there has been a lot of inter-breeding, so there are probably very few British people today whose DNA is either pure Anglo-Saxon, or pure Celt.Back in the late 1980's, I was sent a news article from a Scottish newspaper by a pastor in Scotland where a DNA study had been done with the various Caucasian peoples of the Isles and Europe. The result: they were all descended from the same root stock of Cimmerian and Scythian tribes that migrated from the east into Asia Minor and Europe.

I see you are into a segregation.....of your own making. How many here hate... Southerners and the Southern United States, often called The Bible Belt by others outside the South?
Voters not shown.

fantasies abound with the fearful.SEE BRETHREN IN CHRIST?
That one is one of those I was talking about that HATES Southerners in general. I knew some of them would come out of the woodwork here and say something derogatory; they can't help it, as their fruit reveals their true identity.
You know over the last some 250 years and counting, that people from all over the country have moved from north to south and east to west? Not racist at all, but based on history.
I realize its a history lot of folks don't like, nevertheless, it is the result of an old history of both Europe and the United States of America.
As Christians we are to love one another and to love our neighbor as ourselves. And to pray for our leaders.

It's History. It's not today.

the problem is history is as bad as herstory . people keep telling lots of stories and they dont seemIt is History. And we should always cherish our past's rights and wrongs.
If we forget them we are bound to relive them.
But there comes a point when you have to let the past be the past and today be today.
I grew up 3 blocks from Bunker Hill. 6 blocks from where the Tall Ships came in to port.
Within a mile of the Famous Paul Revere Ride.
I am a Northerner. My family have always lived in the North.
But that doesn't mean I have to hate the British. I don't have to hate the South.
We move forward but we don't forget the past.
And there is no one alive today to hold accountable one way or the other.
Hugs Davy
The entire Bible is history. Should we throw that out too?the problem is history is as bad as herstory . people keep telling lots of stories and they dont seem
