The technology for the mark of the beast is here and the MOTB could be imposed upon humanity very soon.

I meant to explain that there other marks that Jews and Romans would have known about. The point was that the marks were physical, not metaphorical.

"Bruce" could be anyone, eg you or I.
Put yourself in the place of Bruce.
If you were 'Bruce' would you take the MOTB so as to save others ?
Would you be prepared to act as Moses did in Exod 32:32, Num 11:11-15.

The Rev 14:9 MOTB is now a reality.
Bruce is a Saint in the eyes of everyone that knows him
Bruce and all his family, friends & associates are rounded up.
Some are Saints, others are not.
Until Bruce takes the Rev 14:9 MOTB he & everyone will witness one by one the execution of that group.
If it were you, how long would it be before you took the MOTB to stop the executions ?

The bible does not say you will be executed for not taking the MoB. It says you will be executed if you don't worship the image of the beast. People always conflate the two.

No. From a grammatical point of view, the word translated "any man" is the indefinite pronoun τις. This is followed by a list of groups that are the referents for that indefinite pronoun:

1. The group of those who worship the Beast, AND
2. The group of those who worship the image of the Beast, AND
3. The group of those who receive the Mark on their forehead or hand.

That effectively make that AND an OR. You wouldn't argue that it was okay to worship the Beast as long as you don't worship his statue, would you? Same logic.

Main takeaway: Don't worship the Beast, Peter. Don't worship the image of the Beast, Peter. Don't take his mark, Peter. And DON'T counsel others to take the Mark of the Beast. Okay?

I agree. I believe the mark will be physical...both on the skin and under the skin. Perhaps something like the LUCIFERASE-QUANTUM-DOT-TATTOO.
The mark will be scanned and connect with a data center...with you CBDC info as well as your "credit score" allowing you to buy, sell, go through, enter into, exit from etc.
We already have the technology.

I'm not sure on that but maybe? My point is that refusing the mark alone does not get one killed but it is refusal to worship the image that does and is part of the reasons why some saints will be killed.
