The liar is at it again....

Welcome to Monday, when Trump has once again announced a diplomatic breakthrough that the other country involved appears not to have heard about.

And on it goes.
It never ends till he is out of office.
I like Trump, but I don't like the back and forth on whether to deal a final blow to Iran. It shouldn't be this soft-hearted approach that is nothing short of wishy washy. I do consider it possible that Trump knows things we don't know. Perhaps he's delaying until more weapons can be built? Perhaps he's delaying a slaughter of people to let economic sanctions bite ever deeper into the IRGC and produce a popular revolution? Don't know, but I don't like the wishy washy approach--nobody will take him seriously.

Five months after Donald Trump promised a brief excursion into Iran, the United States is waiting for Iran and Oman to negotiate the reopening of a waterway that was open before Trump attacked.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Trump demanded “UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER,” because carefully calibrated statecraft always includes typing the desired conclusion in capital letters.

Those expansive objectives have since contracted to a single urgent plea:
"Please reopen the Strait of Hormuz."

It shouldn't be but I'm sure that it is proceeding this way to minimize casualties.
This is apparently what victory looks like now.

First, create a catastrophe.
Then negotiate an agreement granting the other side new authority, and finally, announce that everyone should admire your restraint because you briefly decided "not to bomb schools again".

Mean while in Minnesota:
Videos verified by Reuters show officers drawing guns on drivers, smashing windows, pepper-spraying passengers.

One ICE officer reportedly followed a woman back to her home after running her plates, “to freak her out.”

Another was caught on video telling a man, “You raise your voice, I erase your voice.”

A copy of 1930s Germany.

So?
Not an ah ha revelation.

An officer of the Law is the authority.
Routinely, they are Face to Face, with defiant, argumentative, uncooperative, weapon weilding and brandishing citizens and unlawful aliens…

Not ALL take the Lesson from Jesus…
To cooperate with authorities…

Scripture used out of context again.
As usual by Trump supporters to defend evil undemocratic actions.
Used to justify the evil totalitarianism of a state.
------------------------------------------------------------------

This was what was done in the case of Bonhoeffer’s Germany when so-called “German Christians” appealed to this viewpoint to justify the Nazi state’s crushing all opposition and the church’s complicity in Nazism’s crimes against humanity.

If we set our sights and hopes on political systems of whichever stripe, pride and or disappointment awaits us. It is not for no reason Jesus said, 'my kingdom is not of this World'.
Trying to mix the two only reveals a lack of understanding the Kingdom Jesus came to bring.....in fact, those who do understand, 'out of their belly will flow rivers of living water'
Is it understood what Jesus mean't by this? If it is, I need to see it on this site.....cuz mens theology are only carving dry river beds.

It is not for no reason Jesus said, 'my kingdom is not of this World'.

A kingdom IS a political system. Jesus didn’t shy away from being THE political leader, the king. Scripture tells us he will rule with an iron hand, which means he will rule politically.

This answer, 'my kingdom is not of this World' got Jesus killed for he confessed to the Roman authority that he, in fact, claimed by implication to be a king - independent of Rome - which is treason, punishable by death. We ought to respect the political weight of our king’s action.

God's kingdom consists of service to the other, never domination. This is how it has always been since eternity
Jesus is the King of service to his creation to the point of giving his life.

Yes, Jesus peacefully obeyed and cooperated with Authorities.

In America the people are under the Rule of Law established according to the same standards and principles of Scripture…
and like Jesus, are supposed to Peacefully obey and cooperate with Authorities.
